Zenless Zone Zero Leak Hints at Version 1.4 Banner Characters

A recent leak from Zenless Zone Zero suggests that two new characters from Section 6 may arrive with Version 1.4. Since the urban action RPG’s release by HoYoverse earlier this year, players have seen an expanding cast of characters drawn from different factions in New Eridu. These include Public Security officers like Zhu Yuan and Qingyi, as well as the rebellious Sons of Calydon bikers. Now, fans have reason to look forward to more characters joining the lineup.

While several factions in Zenless Zone Zero have introduced multiple characters, Section 6 of the Special Operations Department has only made one playable member, Soukaku, available. Tsukishiro Yanagi is confirmed to be joining Soukaku in Version 1.3, but other Section 6 members—Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa—have only appeared as non-playable characters so far. According to recent leaks, this may soon change as Section 6’s roster expands in Version 1.4.

Zenless Zone Zero Leak Reveals Version 1.4 Characters

According to well-known HoYoverse leaker Shirona, two new characters are expected to feature in Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.4. The leak suggests Asaba Harumasa will appear on the update’s first banner, debuting as an Electric-type character, while Hoshimi Miyabi will star on the second banner, wielding Ice Anomaly abilities. Version 1.4 is anticipated to release around mid-December.

These highly anticipated additions would finally make Harumasa and Miyabi, who both debuted early in the game’s story, playable. Miyabi has already showcased her strength in battle, proving to be a formidable warrior capable of contending with powerful foes like the Ethereal Nineveh. Together with Soukaku and Yanagi, Harumasa and Miyabi are central to Section 6’s mission in the Hollow Zero mode, where they work to hold back Nineveh’s forces.

Although many fans are looking forward to Version 1.4, there’s still much to explore in the recently launched Version 1.3. The latest update brings Yanagi and the Sons of Calydon’s character, Lighter, to the game, each with their own Agent Story. Players can also enjoy a new roguelike event, “The Mystery of Arpeggio Fault,” and test their combat skills in the “Simulated Battle Trial” mode. With new characters and fresh content in both Versions 1.3 and 1.4, Zenless Zone Zero fans have plenty of excitement ahead.
