A recent leak from the Genshin Impact community suggests that Yelan, the 5-star Hydro Bow wielder from Liyue, may be the next character to receive a premium outfit. Yelan has been notably absent from the game, not participating in any events, story quests, or hangouts since Version 3.4. Interestingly, she has still appeared twice on Event Banners, remaining relevant even alongside newer hypercarries like Arlecchino and Navia.

With the Lantern Rite event set for Version 5.3, fans anticipate the introduction of at least two new skins for Genshin Impact characters. Unlike outfits associated with the Summer Event, the Lantern Rite skins are typically exclusive to Liyue characters. Recent recipients of such skins include Xingqiu, Shenhe, and Ganyu. While Zhongli was long rumored to be the next in line for a premium outfit, it appears that Yelan is poised to take center stage during the upcoming Lantern Rite.

According to insights from user hxg_diluc, Yelan's new outfit is expected to be available in Version 5.3, likely as a purchasable option using Genesis Crystals. Additionally, players can look forward to a free outfit for a 4-star Liyue character during the Lantern Rite festivities. Many in the Genshin Impact community are speculating that Beidou may be the recipient of this free outfit, although Chongyun is also a strong contender.

Yelan: The Next Character to Get a Premium Skin?

While leaks can often be inaccurate or misinterpreted, the buzz around Yelan's potential outfit is significant given her popularity. It's worth noting that last year's Lantern Rite featured artwork for Zhongli's outfit linked to a collaboration with the Sanxingdui Museum in China.
