As with previous years, Red Dead Online is introducing a variety of seasonal events to keep players engaged with fresh content. With major updates having concluded in 2022, these seasonal activities have become crucial for maintaining player interest. Halloween and Christmas events are especially significant, and this year is no exception.

The October update brings a wealth of spooky content, highlighted by the addition of three brand-new Bodyguard Telegram Missions. In these missions, players will escort drivers through treacherous areas, safeguard a wealthy individual during a chaotic night, and protect hunters from poachers and dangerous wildlife. To sweeten the deal, all Telegram missions will offer double XP, Gold, and RDO$ until November 4.

Return of All Hallow’s Call to Arms

This year also sees the return of the All Hallow's Call to Arms mode, where players can test their survival skills against waves of supernatural foes. The powerful Night Stalker mask will make a comeback, providing players with a crucial advantage during intense encounters. Similar to the Telegram missions, this mode will also grant double Gold, XP, and RDO$ throughout October.

New and Returning Halloween Cosmetics

A central feature of Red Dead Online's Halloween festivities is Halloween Pass 2. Players must purchase this pass to access its content, which includes 15 ranks of chilling cosmetics for players to unlock, equip, and permanently own. Notably, this year’s pass features many items from previous events, so players who missed out on the original Halloween Pass 2 will want to take advantage of this opportunity.

Throughout October, various in-game items will be on sale, along with weekly challenges and XP boosts directing players to a wide array of existing Halloween content. Additionally, new community-created cosmetics, including masks and outfits, will be available through the Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Catalogue and Madam Nazar.
