WWE 2K24 has officially announced the Bray Wyatt Edition of the game. Upon its initial launch in March 2024, players were given the option to choose from the Standard, Deluxe, and Forty Years of WrestleMania Editions.
Although fans who opted for the Forty Years of WrestleMania edition believed they had acquired the ultimate collection encompassing all available content, WWE 2K24 has now revealed an exciting new version that adds fresh material to the mix.
Earlier this month, WWE 2K24 teased the introduction of new Bray Wyatt character models and entrances, sparking speculation among fans. With only the date of October 16, 2024, hinted at, many anticipated the arrival of new MyFaction models, especially considering other alternate characters like Big Poppa Pump had previously joined that mode. However, it turns out these assumptions were off the mark, as WWE 2K24 has just unveiled a brand-new edition of the game for sale.
In a tweet from WWE 2K24, the Bray Wyatt Edition is set to launch on October 16, 2024. This special version will introduce an alternate Bray Wyatt character inspired by the Becoming Immortal documentary, a fresh Uncle Howdy model featuring Bo Dallas under the mask, and a playable character from the Mattel Elite Series 112 collection of Bray Wyatt, complete with the iconic Wyatt Family theme music. Additionally, fans can look forward to receiving Firefly Funhouse Friends MyFaction Manager cards, an in-game version of The Fiend's championship title, and a generous 67,500 virtual currency.
- The Fiend '23
- Mattel Elite Series 112 Bray Wyatt
- Bo Dallas (as Uncle Howdy)
- MyFaction cards for The Fiend, Bray Wyatt, and Uncle Howdy
- Firefly Funhouse Friends MyFaction Manager Card
- 67,500 Virtual Currency
- The Fiend Championship Title
Similar to the Bad Bunny Edition of WWE 2K23, players who already own the base game will have the option to purchase this DLC as a standalone pack. However, acquiring the DLC will grant only 15,000 virtual currency, rather than the originally advertised amount. Nevertheless, many fans have been eagerly awaiting updates related to Bray Wyatt and his associates, so this still presents a worthwhile opportunity.
Unfortunately, the newly introduced Wyatt-inspired faction known as the Wyatt Sicks will not be part of the Bray Wyatt Edition. Given that four out of the five members of this stable are already featured in the game under different personas, fans may feel a bit let down. It’s understandable, though, as creating a new model specifically for Rowan, who is not currently in the roster, may require additional resources. Fans will have to stay tuned for more updates regarding WWE 2K25 to find out if the Wyatt Sicks will eventually make their way into the base game.
