Exciting new leaks from the Genshin Impact beta servers have revealed that the highly anticipated Version 5.2 will feature Zhongli, Neuvillette, and Lyney alongside Chasca on its Event Banners. Since the game's launch, the roster of playable characters has dramatically increased, and the community has consistently hoped for a fair rotation of these Event Banners. Many players had speculated that triple Banners would become a reality, especially after the introduction of double Banners in Version 2.3.
With Version 4.5, Genshin Impact debuted the Chronicled Banner, which showcased multiple limited characters in a unified format. However, its implementation faced criticism due to its short duration, separate pity system, and uncertainty regarding future returns. As the game continues to grow, older characters like Shenhe, Ganyu, and Kokomi have often been overshadowed by newer units introduced in Fontaine.
Version 5.2 is set to introduce Chasca and Ororon to Genshin Impact, with Chasca being a 5-Star Anemo Main DPS and Ororon a 4-Star Electro Sub DPS. Recent data mined by HomDGCat suggests that the featured 5-Star characters for the first half of Version 5.2 will include Chasca and Lyney, while Zhongli and Neuvillette will take center stage in the latter half.
Interestingly, the leak also indicates that Ororon will be accompanied by Heizou and Fischl. Fischl, in particular, is expected to be a valuable addition, especially given her limited appearances since Version 4.1.
- Chasca – 5-Star Anemo Bow
- Lyney – 5-Star Pyro Bow
- Neuvillette – 5-Star Hydro Catalyst
- Zhongli – 5-Star Geo Polearm
- Ororon – 4-Star Electro Bow
- Heizou – 4-Star Anemo Catalyst
- Fischl – 4-Star Electro Bow
With both Chasca and Lyney wielding Bows, the accompanying Weapon Banner is expected to be highly sought after. Weapons like The First Great Magic and Astral Vulture's Crimson Plumage are powerful options, benefiting characters such as Tighnari. In contrast, the latter half of the patch will showcase two meta characters: Neuvillette, regarded as one of the best hypercarries, and Zhongli, known for his comfort pick status. Given Genshin Impact's impending launch on Xbox during Version 5.2, it's logical for HoYoverse to feature these two characters prominently.
Ororon’s abilities are designed to enhance the Electro-Charged playstyle, suggesting that he will likely be featured on Neuvillette’s Banner in the second half of the patch. While the Event Banners for Version 5.2 appear strong, they come at the cost of sidelining other characters. For instance, Wriothesley has not appeared on any Banners since his debut in Version 4.1, while Neuvillette is set for his second rerun.
Moreover, it has been over 500 days since Shenhe and Ganyu graced the Banners, despite their recent premium outfits introduced in Version 4.4. As players continue to advocate for the introduction of triple Banners, it seems that the developers will need to address the growing concerns within the community.
