October is renowned for its abundance of horror-themed entertainment, from major releases like the Silent Hill 2 remake to indie gems like October Panic. As audiences seek a variety of seasonal thrills, this upcoming arcade title promises to deliver a nostalgic retro experience that fans won’t want to miss.

Developed by Swedish solo creator Niklas Hallin and Burning Planet Digital, October Panic invites players into an enchanting Halloween-themed world. Drawing inspiration from classic 2D platformers such as Kirby’s Dream Land and Super Mario Bros. 3, players will guide the young protagonist, October, on a quest to break an evil curse.

As she traverses five eerie levels, players will encounter a host of formidable foes, including werewolves, witches, mummies, and vampires, alongside nods to classic slasher villains and beloved horror films. This young trick-or-treater must navigate through the haunted streets and make her way to the old Haunted House to secure victory on Halloween night, battling over 30 unique enemies along the way.
