Epic Games has made an exciting update to Fortnite's Synced Emotes, allowing players to witness two characters performing the emotes together, rather than just one. This enhancement could significantly boost the appeal of these emotes for potential buyers. The first Synced Emote was introduced during Chapter 2 Season 1, but this new feature elevates the experience even further.

With the annual Fortnitemares event now underway, players can explore a host of fresh cosmetics, including iconic characters like Billy the Puppet from Saw, Sally and The Pumpkin King from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The Halloween-themed map returns, along with the chance to queue for the beloved Horde Rush limited-time mode.

Although the Fortnite update was initially teased for October 11, it was postponed to October 12 for last-minute tweaks. Alongside a wealth of changes in the Fortnitemares update, players have noticed a valuable quality-of-life enhancement that simplifies the viewing of Synced Emotes.

Community Highlights the Changes

Reddit user Jimmie118 showcased the recent updates by sharing a video featuring the Wolverine skin from Chapter 2 Season 4 performing the Bust a Move Icon Series Emote. Unlike before, the preview now displays two Wolverines dancing together, providing players with a clear visual of how the emote syncs with another player.

The video also highlights other popular Synced Emotes, including Hey Now!, Hooray, Jump Around, Lil' Supercar, Master of Puppets, Heart Sign, Get Schwifty, and Fusion! Hah!! Notably, Lil' Supercar and Master of Puppets now feature four Wolverines in their previews, illustrating how multiple players can join in on the fun.

How to Join Synced Emotes

Players can join in on Synced Emotes by approaching another player who has activated one and pressing the interact button. While it's not necessary for every player to own the emote to participate, they must purchase it if they wish to initiate it themselves. This Synced Emote update seems to be part of a hotfix, implemented alongside the broader Fortnitemares update.

Many gamers are praising the Synced Emote preview as one of the standout minor improvements in Chapter 5 Season 4. This season also introduced numerous changes, including new Mythics, adjustments to existing ones, new boss characters like Doctor Doom, and a variety of fresh weapons and items.

As players previously couldn’t visualize how these emotes would look when synchronized with others, this enhancement is likely to inspire more gamers to purchase additional Synced Emotes. With Epic Games committed to regular updates for Fortnite, players are hopeful that further community suggestions will be integrated in the future.
