Before the release of The War Within on August 26, World of Warcraft players can claim Dragonflight-related rewards, such as the Voyaging Wilderling mount and the Reins of Anu'relos. Additionally, Mythic Keystone achievements and rewards will become unattainable after the expansion launches, so players should participate in them before the cutoff date. Finally, the WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria event will end on August 19, and Timerunner characters will become regular characters after that, so players should take advantage of the event before it concludes.

Dragonflight Rewards to Obtain Before The War Within Launches

With the release of World of Warcraft's next expansion, The War Within, rapidly approaching, Blizzard has shared a helpful guide on which Dragonflight rewards will become unavailable or more difficult to obtain. This guide serves as a valuable to-do list for players who want to ensure they don't miss out on these important in-game items and achievements.

The War Within is set to launch on August 26, with early access for Epic Edition owners beginning on August 22. Coinciding with this release, the game's pre-patch will also go live, bringing a multitude of quality-of-life improvements, class changes, and the new Warbands system to the World of Warcraft community.

To help players prioritize their activities over the next few weeks, Blizzard has revealed that certain Dragonflight rewards, such as the coveted Voyaging Wilderling mount and the Reins of Anu'relos, will become impossible or extremely difficult to obtain after the release of The War Within. As such, it is recommended that players focus on completing these objectives before the expansion launches, as most other Dragonflight content will still be available even after the transition.

Preparations Before World of Warcraft: The War Within

Dragonflight Season 4 Updates:

Awakened Raids are now available.

Obtain the Voyaging Wilderling mount from Normal Dragonflight Raids.

Earn the "Awakened Hero" title by completing Heroic Dragonflight Raids.

Mythic Dragonflight Raids grant raid teleports.

Season 4 Awakened Raid Achievements across Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties.

After The War Within, acquiring the Reins of Anu'relos, Flame's Guidance mount, as well as associated items (Feather of the Blazing Somnowl and Cinder of Companionship), will be more challenging.

Earn "The Draconic" title through Dragonflight Keystone Conqueror: Season 4.

Obtain the Infinite Armoredon mount via Dragonflight Keystone Master: Season 4.

Unlock Keystone Hero Dungeon Teleports for all Dragonflight dungeons.

World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria:

Ending on August 19.

Timerunners will revert to regular characters post-event.

Radiant Echoes Pre-Patch Event:

Running from July 30 to August 26.

Begins in Legion Dalaran, featuring portals to Dragonblight, Dustwallow Marsh, and Searing Gorge.

Accessible to all players starting from level 10.

As World of Warcraft players eagerly await the arrival of the next expansion, The War Within, the Mists of Pandaria Remix event is set to come to an end on August 19, just a few days before the early access period begins. This limited-time event has provided players with a unique opportunity to experience the Mists of Pandaria expansion like never before, unlocking a wealth of mounts, transmogs, and other coveted cosmetics while allowing characters to level at an accelerated pace. However, once the event concludes, Timerunner characters will lose their special perks and items, and will be converted into regular World of Warcraft characters for use in The War Within and beyond.

Amidst the excitement surrounding The War Within, the upcoming pre-patch has also introduced a brand-new world event for players to enjoy. Starting on July 30, fans who have reached level 10 or above can participate in the Radiant Echoes event, where they can battle against memories of iconic moments and bosses from Azeroth's history in Dragonblight, Dustwallow Marsh, and the Searing Gorge. This event features convenient portals in Dalaran, allowing players to quickly travel to and from the different stages and easily collect and spend Residual Memories – the event's currency – to acquire catch-up gear and exclusive cosmetics.

In preparation for the launch of The War Within, the maintenance period for the game's pre-patch has been extended by a few hours. However, players should be able to return to World of Warcraft very soon. It's important to note that the initial login process may take a little longer this time, as the Warbands conversion process can take up to 20 minutes or more to complete.
