The patch includes fixes and tweaks to various activities, such as Ghosts of the Deep, Salvation's Edge, the Liminality strike, and the Crucible. Additionally, the update made adjustments to the Shieldcrush artifact perk and exotic armor like Precious Scars and Osiomancy Gloves, improving the overall gameplay experience for Destiny 2 players.

Bungie has released Update 8.0.0.7 for Destiny 2, addressing a number of bugs and gameplay problems related to activities, Guardian abilities, and more. This update comes at a significant time, as Act 2 of Episode Echoes has finally arrived after a 3-week hiatus. The release cadence established by the move away from Seasons and to these new Episodes has left many fans a little disappointed due to the imposed downtime between multiple Acts.

However, there is good news on the horizon. Bungie has confirmed that Episode 2: Revenant will be releasing all story content at launch, removing the timegating elements that have been present in Episode 1: Echoes. This change has proven to be a hit with fans, who continue to praise the studio's responsiveness to feedback. Bungie has stated that they will continue to monitor feedback, and they may make further adjustments before the launch of Episode 3 in 2025.

Alongside these bigger changes, Bungie has also released the latest update for Destiny 2, which arrived alongside the weekly reset. Additionally, the Pathfinder has received numerous tweaks, including adjusting a node that required 150 Cabal kills and instead making it less specific to include any combatant.

The latest Destiny 2 update, 8.0.0.7, includes several gameplay-related fixes. The Titan's Precious Scars exotic armor has been adjusted so that the Sol Invictus and Offensive Bulwark Aspects no longer block the Kintsugi perk. For the Warlock's Osmiomancy Gloves, the regeneration bonus will now only work with Coldsnap grenades, instead of any grenade type. Additionally, the Shieldcrush perk in the Destiny 2 Artifact was fixed to address an issue where the Grapple Punch ability was gaining full bonuses from either half of the perk, making it more powerful than intended.

While there were no weapon adjustments in this patch, Bungie has announced an upcoming nerf to the popular Destiny 2 exotic, Still Hunt sniper rifle.
