Homura Hime Announced as Playable Game at BitSummit Drift

Homura Hime, the 3D bullet hell action game announced in July 2023, will be making its playable demo debut at BitSummit Drift from July 19-21, publisher PLAYISM and developer Crimson Dusk have announced.

At the BitSummit Drift event, attendees will have the opportunity to play an early demonstration of Homura Hime, including an introductory tutorial as well as some of the game's intense boss encounters. While a full release date has not yet been confirmed, Homura Hime is currently scheduled to launch for Nintendo Switch, in addition to the previously announced PC release via Steam.

BitSummit Drift Demo

Homura Hime, the 3D bullet hell action game developed by Crimson Dusk and published by PLAYISM, will receive its first-ever public demo showcase at the upcoming BitSummit Drift indie game event. The event will be held at Miyako Messe in Kyoto, Japan from July 19 to July 21, 2024.

At the III booth, attendees will have the opportunity to experience the opening segments of Homura Hime, including the tutorial that teaches players the game's mechanics, as well as a sample of the title's intense boss battles. This debut demo represents a chance for fans to get an early hands-on taste of the game ahead of its full release.

Crimson Dusk

The game developer Crimson Dusk is a Taiwanese indie team formed in May 2020. In 2018, Sam, one of the founders, showcased the prototype of "Homura Hime," a project he started independently while he was still a student, at a contest. The project received a lot of positive feedback, leading to the formation of Crimson Dusk.
