Charming, and immersive story. I will remember this one for a long time. The only gripe I had about this one is that it had a few typos, but nothing that would take me out of the story entirely :)

the first two books had me hooked and reading like a mad man but sadly this one made me slow down. its been about a week since i started reading and its just honestly boring and i can only stand 3-5 pages before wanting to stop. my character doesnt fit with most choices given and the whole detective stuff killed the energy that the first two books so easily built up.

Excellently written and very immersive. Characterization and world building are masterfully executed, and the social commentary on racism/classism is elegant. It makes the issues clear without being overbearing, and makes dealing with internal stigmas a compelling plot point. However, character development feels somewhat un-interactive. P.S. don't be the Karen who whines about paywalls. Authors have to put a crazy amount of effort into writing these. If you want one for free, write it yourself.

Um, awesome fu**ing game. Enough said. Love it. I'm on book 2. The books are exciting and you feel a part of the story. This way it should be done ✔️ I've played hundred of choice games. This in my top 5 easily

Fish scene. I picked "option" 3, thinking the mc would look for something else to eat instead of poaching a koi. I ended up with a condescending author's note assuming why I chose 3. It basically said if I didn't like the first two "options" of kill the koi then I should gtfo. So I continued on, choosing to stab the koi for a pointlessly drawn out death scene. Couldn't get much further cause that author's note still irked me. Plz make choices meaningful and respect the readers.

At first I was a little reluctant to be this ronin who's character had little similarities with mine and be thrown into a vast world with an even vast plot later on but since I'm a sucker for feudal Japan and CYOA games, I gave this masterpiece a try (really, there's nothing like this out there). And never have i regretted that choice (pun intended lmao)

I think this book is really worth it bcoz it has a very interesting storyline ,amazing characters plus it gives u a certain sensation to want more and more plus u can really feel that the writer put time and effort to achieve this masterpiece so i recommend it to all of you

Its not much of a "choice" game but you do have to choose but it has only limited set of choices and the story is a self narative of your "mc" There are less converstion just more on self talk that is. Even the trait system is kinda useless I dont know why this is praised by some people but kinda understand if they are weebs or anime fun which kinda makes it a clickbait for us Game readers not weebs.
