Not a complete story, but the very long, drawn out world building beginnings of one with a player choice only once every 4 pages. Barely a choice of game with a highly unsatisfying ending, author seems to be working out some personal stuff here using the MC to tell the reader how they should feel.

Why why why do stories like this make the main character aka me, so weak, timid, I get it for the start of the story and as the story continues I get stronger but I don't I just keep losing no matter what I choose. And why do I talk so much in my head like I'm a teenage girl who can't think properly. I hate that the main characters choices don't really impact anything especially my chosen abilities eg: magic why have it if I just fissle out cause I'm that useless. Story is ok but frustrating.

Not a fan of how weak minded and pathetic the game insists on making your character seem no matter which stats you invest in. Every sentence is an in-depth view of how panicky and inexperienced you are. Decent lore though, and the combat scenes are fun.

Don't get me wrong, the story is great, my one issue is that it ends on a cliffhanger that leads to an obvious sequel, except there's no save feature. You cannot save your character from this story at all.

The protagonist is a wuss and a goddamn simp. I mean is this really the way to implement feminism in games by making a male protagonist basically a pushover with zero self esteem and the ability to hold a normal conversation with a woman like that of some incel. I tried to offer a suggestion to improve the male mc and make him more masculine but to no surprise I got reported. Nice way of demonising and alienating the majority. The women are strong and relatable but so should have been the men.

This Author does not need to be paid for this. They need to write for free on AO3 or something before collecting money for their underdeveloped writing skills. The flaws, plot holes, ridiculous redundancy. The reverse character development that leads NO WHERE. It is AWFUL. It feels like a very 1st attempt at someone trying to write. I am published. So I say this with some experience. Author, you got paid to do homework. I would not recommend this if it were free. I hate that I paid for this.

I read until the part where our party reached the cave to help elf lady's friend. Couldn't progress any further because I got bored out of my mind and dropped the game altogether. NPCs are fine, MC is also fine but something is definitely lacking. I think the story itself is not that engaging or it might be narration I'm not 100% sure.
