From a technical perspective, this is an excellent app. It emulates the PS2 very well. 4/5, the developer could look to the on-screen controls from the dolphin emulator for improvement. Unfortunately, the app is driven by an outdated version of the PCSX2 engine, so some avoidable bugs remain. The developer is not obeying the GPL requirements for the PCSX2 engine, which is kind of silly because it is legal to mix the open source engine with a proprietary front end. Shame.

I'm not sure if my S8 is underpowered or if it's just that the emulation isn't that good on Android yet but I can't get games to run better than 13fps, so they're unplayable at present. I'm reluctant to spend money on the paid version as it may have all the same issues (I suspect it will). I think the price for the paid version is a bit steep.

Seriously ads from the get-go? Before being able to test the app at all, you have to sit through 30 seconds of ads which pops up with a way to skip the ad (since that is how some ad API work I guess?) Only to have to rewatch another ad. The other odd thing is they need access to your phones serial number....why? What is the entire purpose to that specifically?

Full version is a rip-off, it unlocks some debug mode options that give a miniscule boost to speed of game play. Out of all the games I've played on this app none have gone past 1/5 of original game speed as I remember it. So I don't recommend buying full. DEFINITELY WAIT FOR SOMETHING BETTER. Maybe if it had "toggle game speed" option in full version I wouldn't have minded paying almost $10 for it, but at least for it to have a X2 option. PLEASE DEVELOPMENT TEAM LISTEN TO MY PLEE!!

This emulator does not even work. (I have an up to date phone that can handle emulation). Everything, I mean EVERY feature is locked bwhjnd paywalls and 30 second ads. I've honestly never seen it done so aggressively. They will encourage you to upgrade or go premium, only to not have those work with. Trash, and an absolute joke of an app. I suggest other people report this to Sony as I have.

WASTE OF TIME, MONEY AND DATA! The emulation sucks with tons of bugs and glitches, for example: In gta san andreas, I don't see the orange atmosphere, and a ghost shadow glitch. And also framerate doesn't seem to improve with those bugs and glitches. And another thing is THE ANNOYING COIN SYSTEM. It is just a waste of money and u have to buy coins or watch ads. And if u click the pause menu of the emulator by mistake, u have to watch and ad to resume. Instead, use aethersx2. It is much better!!!

Unnecessary permission requests( phone call, gps?) and it won't run without them. Even if you've given permission, it wil still require you to access internet all time. Other app is better, smooth gameplay and completely free without requiring you to watch ads just to reaume the game. So much suspicious points about this app that I advice you to install at your own risk.

Horrible, not only is there literally an ad at every screen transition. I had to download four different isos before one was accepted. Then when I go to boot it, I make it to the start menu and it boots me out and makes me watch another ad to get a "coin" needed to load a game each time. The free versions are there to test the product, you can't even do that so why would I do the paid version when you force us to pay in the free version or watch ads just to load a game that you cant even start.
