Worth every penny. One of my favorite games of all time, and this is a shockingly good port at an amazing price. Playing with touch screen controls definitely adds a new challenge to the gameplay but given how familiar I am with the original game it actually makes the game exciting to play again and forces me to play in ways I never did before. This is gonna live on my phone indefinitely.

The touch controls are awkward sometimes, but I still enjoy playing it. Currently experiencing a huge glitch though. I got to the inverted castle, and my defense went to zero. Nothing I'm doing can fix it. I've tried so many different things to try and reset it, but it won't go higher than 2. Because of this, even medusa heads are doing a lot of damage and killing me quickly. Please fix this!

Bought this as an impulse and I don't regret it. Its perfectly playable (despite the normal limitations of touch pads), it has midway checkpoints besides the save spots, I've already beat the first boss and a little beyond Marble gallery. So far, so good. Edit: Just finished the game a couple of hours ago. Just amazing, smooth gameplay, no problems, had one, just one, glitch when fighting shaft that I fell outside the arena but just flew back and everything was OK. An amazing port.

It looks exactly like the console version, and plays just as well. At first, I thought there was a problem with the controls, but I was just pressing the wrong button. The touchscreen play is good, and even though my device is 120hz, I've seen no problem with speedup. It's perfect SotN on the go, and that's all I ask for. Excellent!

Full controller support is nice, but there needs to be a way to remap the controller inputs. I connected with my DualShock 4 controller with the Bluetooth, and it works perfectly in terms of response time, but I don't want square to be jump. It's not what I'm use to, and I don't want to get use to it. The PS1 version had the option to remap the controls. Why can't this?

Great game, mobile controls are never perfect but they work very decently compared to other games. My main complaints are A. Uncontrollable layout and I can't even see what the buttons do in a menu or something. Took me an hour to figure out how to turn into a wolf, I do enjoy the hotbars however. B. When I jump I can't slide my finger over to attack, rather I have to jump, let go of jump, and then press attack. Which is annoying in combat situations where I want one action then the other.

I thought this would be a good game on the go and the port is good in almost everyway, except for the control which makes it almost insufferable. Too many times you get hit or you miss a hit because the game thinks you didn't hit a button. I don't have this issue in many other games so something is wrong here. Some customization for controls and maybe buttons should could have extended click area around them, but as it now the control is the biggest flaw. Hence the low review score

One of the best games of all time! Controls are a little tricky in certain parts, unfortunately. There's a part where you turn into Mist to proceed that took 2 seconds to do in original, which took me about a half hour and dozens attempts to get the jump and timing just right on this. Otherwise, it's a surprisingly good translation and I highly recommend it for this great price!

The controls and movements feel great the only problem I have with the controls are that the buttons are small, if you're phone is small you'll probably have a harder time playing the game. I really love the changes to the original menu feels much more organized and looks way better. One thing I really wished that was added to this version is the death screen skip as you have to wait 20 seconds before you can do anything, but I can't really fault it. Definitely worth a buy.
