The selection of news ia pretty good. Should be MORE on events or problems or issues other than The Virus. The SOUND is messed up, tho, all thru the videos. Has been for a week or more. The first 5 to 20 seconds repeats, sometimes more than once. Sounds also breaks up, crackles, during the video. All the videos.

If I didn't have this app installed I wouldn't find out about all these interesting stories. I get a tiny blurb and I can quickly decide whether or not this article is interesting to me. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it notifies me SO often, and the sound is identical to the one when I get a text, so it's distracting.

This app is the greatest ive seen or tried for allowing me to see/hear the latest news quicly and its reported correctly. Wether its concerning the World politics, health, sports, family or lifestyle, i get the news quickly. Breaking news usually 2 hours from the time its happening. A great way to stay informed! Thanks NBC for bringing the news to me so efficiently and truthfully! If you want news the way it really happens, NBC news app is the one to watch!

For years the NBC News app showed several days of complete segments for news shows, such as The Rachel Maddow Show, without requiring a cable login. So you could watch whole shows by watching these segments in order. This was a great public service. And it was very convenient, because you could watch the whole show, or just the segments you were interested in. Recently it switched to short excerpts, so all you get is about 10 minutes of a 40 minute show. I uninstalled the app.

Half the time, when you tap on a notification about a specific news story, the app comes up but then goes to a different story. Then, because there is no search feature, you just have to scroll and scroll and scroll until you find the article you were going there for in the first place. Not worth the hassle. Uninstalling.

This app has more bugs than a roach hotel. Constantly cutting out and has to be rebooted several times over the period of a day. I like listening but it is extremely frustrating to deal with. Because this spends so much time down, I've begun to use other news stations because this is useless and no one seems to want to fix it.

I think it's a bit of a mess. I don't know if I'm watching the actual Live Now news or not. I figure I'm not because there's too much new news out there that I'm not seeing here, and I don't see listed in the news clips list, which goes on and on with stories they have, or are, reporting and maybe updating on.

08/10/21 Been using this app for years. It's always been a bit buggy, but the new release had rendered the app completely useless, especially on firestick. Have reinstalled it multiple times. Still extremely slow or unresponsive, locks up, and kicks you out. What a disaster

Wow! This app went from great to unusable. Everything is great except for the fact that commercials on the listen live are literally twice as loud as the broadcast. If you're listening on headphones or speaker close to your ear be prepared to have your ear drums blown out.
