Everything I loved about Twitpane in a Mastodon client... Until the subscription plan was added. I get it, developers need to eat, but this isn't the way to do it. A separate app the same as last time is ideal. If you really feel that you have the best client in the land (yes!!), you can charge whatever for it, just not recurring $2.50 a month. That's 30 a year! Instead, charge a flat "forever" fee with a paid license auth companion app which unlocks premium, no ads, etc. tied to their account.
