I'm only 3 lessons in, and that part has been fine, but I've spent more time watching unskippable videos pushing premium than actually using the app. Personally, I try using an app for a week before even considering premium with how many subscriptions there are out there, so this constant pushing is really pushing me away.

App is great if u buy special plan because if you don't buy the plan, ads keep popping up like crazy even in between the level where we are speaking, just want to sell special plan, if you can't afford plan its better to learn from youtube for free instead. Ads are so frequent its like a app to watch ad instead of learing. How the ads keep appearing during the level is going on its clear that they don't want you to learn for free.

I've been using the app for some time now, but to be honest, after using it for about a month, I feel like I'm not really learning as much as I would want to. It seems like a lot of the interactions that the app has you do is more of a gamified perspective rather than actually learning what you're doing. Like for writing, I wish I could type the words instead of clicking the words provided. I'll never learn to type in Spanish if I don't physically type anything.

Buggy, it's not clear if my audio is registered or not. Very generic appearance, yet the material is good. If it were made clear that audio is being received this would be more appealing to use over the owl brand.

Giving you a 3 star because I have to pay $20 to continue using the app, and I'm experiencing bug just on my first day using it. I'm learning nihonggo and there's a bug on the conversation where you get a taxi. The text and the voice guide does not match! It's read as "Dono we kakarimasu ka". But the voiceline say "Dono korai kakarimasu ka". And it does not match whenever I try to record my voice. Please fix this ASAP

Idea is great, but the progress is quite slow. Spent like 15min to say how are you in Italian. Ads volume are muuuuch higher than the lessons, when they pop up is horrible. Lastly, they always say it's the last chance for discount. Price was over 300 a year and they offered 70, which means you could potentially buy it for 50.

Won't let you continue on without a subscription. You'll finish the first few modules and then it will only play the most annoying ad without letting you continue. The ad tells you to not eat fast food and you'll have enough money to buy their app for a year. Maybe I don't want to spend $30, and I'm sure it's going to be over $100 after that first year, when all I've experienced is a ridiculous amount of ads and learned nothing more than greetings.

The app generally is good, but there are so many instances when it doesn't recognise accurate speech. It's really annoying and frustrating. Even talking slower, louder or both doesn't seem to work. I've had Chinese friends try it and it doesn't recognise them.

I like the idea but the actual app leaves much to be desired. At least in the japanese course the text and what the voice says don't always match and no matter how you say the sentence it will always be incorrect. It's truly infuriating. You can't charge people for an app that is this poorly managed.
