Great app for the pure number of observations and users. There were thousands of observations near me. The identification is good but not the best. Sometimes this struggles where other apps don't. Also I like that other apps have a rating of probability. The interface for this app is quite clunky. Submitting observations takes lots of separate steps. I love the local exploration interface and local leader boards. A very good free app which doesn't have ads.

Such a helpful learning tool. Some bugs need fixing. I have suggestions. - I've run into the problem of the app deleting half, or even all, of my images once done editing. I could edit them outside of iNat. In-app would be nice tho. - Add a sort by date! Even out of order observations record the date. Let us see them in chronological order! Sort by genus, species, & location (maybe even a map) options would be game changers! Give iNaturalist a go! Stay wild fellow nature nerds. ˖ྀ⚘༄˖

Wonderful concept but poor execution. App is very slow and freezes often. Also, when you try to ID an obscure species, the app will show you a small number of reference photos or even no photos, even when others users have contributed countless research grade photos of the species. That makes it hard to ID. Seems like the reference photos are being pulled off Wikipedia although I'm not sure. Why not use photos users have contributed?

I moved to a very different area where I didn't know any flora or fauna. This app helped me identify nearly 150 species, including what's indigenous & isn't, what looks scary but is actually good & not aggressive and what's pretty, but harmful. HOWEVER, there's a reoccurring glitch with zoomed in photos (whether zoomed in before upload or zoomed in using the app). Zooming in is often necessary to help the app identify the right thing, but this glitch causes the photo to disappear. PLEASE FIX!

Honestly, this is great app for observing and learning. Good community members, relatively accurate identification, and neat display. Unfortunately it drains A LOT of my internet data/usage -which understanable since it based on pictures. I wish there will be option/settings to put on lighter mode. Other than that, the lagging and bug aren't bother me much. Sometimes it display wrong picture but it can easily solved by closed and reopen the app.

Every time I select "Choose Image" I get a black screen that I can't back out of and it lags to open my home screen. This seems to happen if I am doing things too quickly and when I have recently added a new observation. Sometimes it manages to open the "choose image" screen but it then says it is "empty" and if I try to select something it then freezes and I have to force close. To get it to stop doing this I have to clear cache and data then restart and relogin... Makes the app unusable.

App now working perfectly. iNaturalist gets you outside and interested in the natural environment, as well as making contributions to science. (Animals and plants). Highly recommended!

The speed about uploading posts is very low. Change it! Please consider it for next app udpates. We can't post many items at the same.It will be too long for us to wait.

This app sucks! I mean, seriously. First problem is, that most features do NOT work on this app. Secondly, it says that when it scans my photos it actually doesn't, because I don't see them where they are supposed to be visible. Thirdly, when I do scan for the selected species the plant or animal is closest to, it doesn't give me accurate results! And it constantly crashes when I try to go back into my pictures or it crashes randomly for no reason! I do not recommend this app.
