I really like the subscription model, compared to other apps. And they have quite a few worthwhile series to read. I however do not like how prude manta is. Pls do not mutilate stories by censoring them, in the worst case it even changes the story (Winter Wolf). Also the new age verification system feels like an insult. It's just extra steps to read the same tame material. Just don't post smut material then. Censoring something is worse than not having it in the first place. Like fat free cheese

Since the latest update the scrolling has become kind of laggy? It's no longer smooth scrolling and it's distracting enough that I can't read more than 1 chapter at a time. I hope this will get fixed...

I've been using the app for some months. This is my first review, and I've subscribed and I pay monthly, but it's very worth it, I've spent nights laughing, crying, and just binge reading. It's my favorite app to read, and it has a variety of interesting stories.

With the descriptions build up I was expecting rom-com, isekai, maybe even some good old comedy- harem stuff. What I've seen so far is a small line of isekai, and I do mean small, and none of the other types. Also most of the content that I saw seemed to be aimed at female readers. I was expecting a lot more and better.

I enjoy Manta, it's affordable and i get to read as much as i want. However the reason i only gave 4 stars is because of the novel portion. Where before i had read and saved a novel, i now have to pay to read it again if i wanted to reread it. If it was already read and saved from before why do i know have to pay?

Love that you can read a lot of chapters for free, but now I gotta wait on all my current reads till 10 new chapters come out? I guess it's time to finally go back into reality for a second and find a book to read in the meantime. Let's see if I remember to come back in ten weeks or try to find more reads on this app
