Useless! I have an ASUS Zenfone2, multimedia system can not connect to the mobile hotspot. It is a software issue, I am surprised to see the oncar agent talk about the mobile companies cooperation. For example DLNA and mirror screen are available as an android and TV options, they are not company related. I think oncar (former carlink) lacks software developers.

I've tried this SW in many android phones with my kia cerato 2017 car, the problem is it Keeps disconnect and connect to the car navigation system all the time. The connection is not stable. Please fix it as this is the only supported SW'carlink' in my car.

Thanks for the work done, this seems to be the beginning of the way, some issues I mention: 1- The number of supported phones needs to be increased. A universal solution might work. 2- The user interface is extremely simple and needs improvement, different color themes makes it to match different car interior color sets. 3- It restricts too many apps (nearly all) while moving, this definitely needs to be reviewed. Passengers might like to watch a movie. 4- it seems like the app consumes too much battery. 5- The connection is not always steady.

The app needs an update because it doesnt work on oreo Samsung S8+ beside it should give the user to change the security settings for driving mode because none of my media works while driving which is very disturbing

Number of smartphones supported are very limited. I dont even know which smartphones are supported. Tried with Samsung A7, Huawei Mate 9, P10 & Mate 10, all failed to connect or link. The CarLink in my car now become useless. Developer should increase more smartphones to work with the CarLink and if possible to allow iPhone to work with it too.
