Solved! If you're searching for all files with a particular extension, the app doesn't use wildcards (e.g. *.epub), you should enter just .epub in the search field. Weirdly, though, if you use *.epub it would appear to work, then lose all the results at the end. Original post: I'm searching the internal storage for *.acsm files. While the search is running, a bunch of hits show but as soon as the search completes, the hits disappear and the search result comes up "Empty"

FRUSTRATING. I open my Dropbox File whereby I want the (Android) File to go -- and it DOESN'T APPEAR. I'm clueless as to where it ends up. Seems this app functions only for image/video backups. Stupid, because my media apps, holding said Files, have their own reliable method to ABSOLUTELY BACKUP ANDROID FILES TO DROPBOX. Other File Managers and Backup apps are SUBERB. Quickly Uninstalling. You will, too.

Same as everybody else been using this for years it has worked great for file management and network shares alike... But now with every update more and more functionality is removed! Is there any way to revert back to a working version?! Browse SMB shares doesn't seem to exist any more you have to know the exact path and if you get it wrong there doesn't appear to be any way to edit or remove the location!

This was my go-to file manager for many years. After an update over a month or two ago, I'm unable to connect to my Dropbox and it freezes up from time to time. I really like how I can pick how to organize each folder unlike others has only one setting for all folders. Please fix!

Astro is a bit like the "Missing Manual" books in that it should be included from there start. I've always assumed data management systems (PC's, tablets, phones, etc.) would include a robust, user accesible and user friendly file managment application. That's just a no-brainer, to me. Without one you're really just an interested observer, and it feels kind of like riding in a car with no steering wheel. Call me an old-school geek if you want, but yes, I'd like a steering wheel, please!

Great file manager. My old phone got damaged and I had to get a phone that is a little difficult to navigate and the file organizer isnt what it should be.and is a pain in the neck. Astro file manager makes it a breeze. Easy to move files from one location to another. Send files and copy without any problems. No bugs. A keeper!

Terrific app. I've been using Astro for years, across multiple phones, to access files at the file-system level. Works great. The latest version makes it easy to find specific file types while retaining the FS-level access. Astro is one of the first apps that I load when configuring a new phone.

Helpful to manage different types of media. Basically helpful to transform Mobile to Laptop experience, one platform. To be able to manage PC demands from a Mobile platform. Great start. Already use mobile far more than PC, sharing, moving, modifying audio, visual, video files. Astro File Manager has been SO useful to delineate that mobile vs. computer line. Thanks you guys!

I've used Astro for a while and I've always liked it. Easy enough to use. Now i'm having the same issues as some others. Moving files from internal storage to SD card and the files are 0 in size. It's like it makes a useless copy of the file but doesn't actually move it. I had to install an earlier version but it eventually updated itself so now I'm using another app. I'll definitely use Astro again once/if it's fixed.
