Fine grained backup control, unlike Google/others. Restored A13 apps in A14 w/o issue. Most 3 star and lower reviews are based on user error and an inability to understand what Swift Backup is and how it works.

Made a backup on android 11, flashed android 13, can't restore anything because the app does not see the backups. Colossal waste of time.

Makes me miss Titanium Backup just a little less. In-between the complexity/versatility of old skool android where you could do anything no matter the risk, and today's uniformed/safe systems you have to sell an organ to change a button; a few projects (programs) stand out that find ways to mix the two very well. This is of one of the leading examples. It can still be done. I do resent that a wrong click won't brick your device. Made success something to be relieved about.

I've been using this for daily backups for a few years now, bought premium at some point, very feature rich, well priced and works very reliably, never encountered any real issues. Good job, honestly rare to see this level of polish even on "big name" apps nowadays...

work flawlessly on internal storage, hopefully backups doesnt prone from any malware modification. *I couldnt save apps from internal to android data formatted sdcard, old version would give you warning that root needed ( why?) , new version will crash when I'm trying to click the drop down button. Good apps..

Good morning, I've been using the application for a long time, it's always been useful and I've never had any problems, but after this last update, every time I go to make a backup, whether local or in the cloud, it crashes my entire device and creates more than 20 GB of storage or even more filling my internal memory, thus locking my device. What could this be?

Has the potential to be the best backup program on the Play Store but is let down by two things: 1) Proper exterrnal Sdcard backup solution: titanium doesn't need any magisk module or anything else to backup to external SD card so why does Swift backup?? 2) lack of free cloud Solutions the offer 10 gig or more of storage. Mega, Deego, Unlim, mediafire are just a few I can think of. EDIT :1 needs Android 11 to get it to work titanium works on every Android version so how comes you can't implement

Discovered this since it still in version 2.x, and till now using as my main backup manager for my devices. Love the material design that implemented inside its interface. I have to manually backup all my apps one by one due to free account limitation, but still acceptable as the offering in free version better than other similar backup manager. Don't know why people bother about the Google account binding, this make my life easier especially when restoring same app from different device.

Paid for cloud backups: UPDATE 3- 12 months later and scheduled sync still fails intermittently. Wireless ADB access is required (why?) for non-root backups, paired using Shizuku App (as advised) via WIFI (?). ADB pairing is lost after a while and so has to be manually re-acquired for backups to work again. I'd already removed Swift and Shizuku from OS battery and permission optimisations so don't understand why ADB pairing gets lost! So non-root backup is too flaky to be relied upon!
