Notifications don't work I paid for the premium service as I loved the concept. However, notifications only work if you log on to a PC every couple of days to delete your session. They then work for a couple of days before you have to do it again. This is despite having disabled battery optimization, having the app constantly running in the background. If I was using the free version I might not mind but it's just too irritating for a paid for service and I'm looking for an alternative again.

While I love the service, the app has been crashing constantly on my phone and I haven't been able to open it in a few days.

So far I really like this email service, however there are a few things i would change, particularly about the UI. 1. Animations feel too sluggish. Transitions take too long and could use easing 2. The way things are organized is unintuitive. I would only have one main drop down menu, and put everything under that in categories. Settings, for example, creates another drop down on the left where one would think the exit would be. 3. Theming! (edit:I meant custom themes but I wasRunningOutOfSpace)

*Update I was finally able to sign up and have been using it for a few months now. It works well and I like knowing my emails are far more secure than before. I like that there is an encrypted calendar and switching over was fairly easy. There are a few things I would like to see that are available in other email/calendar platforms that would almost certainly move this to a five star app. In line conversations in emails, more field options in contacts, and customized repeats in calendars.

Moving to a greener alternative, so far all good but I find the display makes email fonts tiny and there's no way to zoom in or enlarge them. I guess it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make at the moment but it is difficult to read and accurately tap links when the writing is so small and I'd rather not have to enlarge the font on my phone jyst to suit one app!

Good app, however I think it's worth pointing out that there are often delays in notifications coming through about having received an email. For example, today I was using the desktop version on my laptop and received an email, however the notification didn't come through on my phone until almost 2 hours later. Otherwise, it's a very enjoyable mail app.

I've been using Tutanota for a few months now and I'm satisfied with the way it's been performing, nearly flawless. No complaints about it. I like how intuitive the interface of the apps is. So far, just one thing missing to me, the ability of pinning an email to the top of the inbox or flagging it. This is a function that I use a lot in other email providers that helps me to stay organized. Do you plan on adding this function in the future? Please do. :)
