Introduction

Looking for a convenient way to share your phone's internet connection? Look no further than PdaNet+! With over 30 million downloads, this app has been a trusted favorite since 2003. Whether you have a limited data plan, an unlimited plan with metered hotspot usage, or an unlimited plan without any restrictions, PdaNet+ has got you covered. It offers a variety of connection modes, including WiFi Direct, USB, and Bluetooth, making it compatible with all Android phones. Plus, the app now features a new WiFi Direct Hotspot option that allows you to connect computers and tablets to your phone seamlessly.

Features of PdaNet+:

- WiFi Direct Hotspot: The App comes with a new feature called "WiFi Direct Hotspot" that allows users to connect their computers and tablets to their phone using WiFi. This feature works on all Android phones -1 or later, but may require installation of a client app or proxy setup.

- Compatibility with Older Phone Models: The original WiFi Hotspot feature, known as FoxFi, is still available in a separate app for users who still need it. This feature may not work on newer phone models due to carrier updates. The new WiFi Direct Hotspot feature is designed to solve this compatibility issue.

- USB Mode: The App also offers USB mode, which allows connection from Windows or Mac. Additionally, there is a "WiFi Share" feature that turns Windows into a WiFi Hotspot, enabling users to share their PdaNet Internet with other devices.

- Bluetooth Mode: While WiFi Direct mode is preferred, the App also provides Bluetooth mode for connecting to Windows.

- Data Plan Compatibility: The App is useful for users with specific data plan limitations. If their data plan does not allow them to turn on the mobile hotspot feature or if hotspot usage is metered against a cap, PdaNet+ offers a solution. However, for users with unlimited data plans or plans that allow unlimited hotspot usage without throttling, the App may not be necessary.

- Timed Usage Limit: The free edition of the App has a timed usage limit but is otherwise the same as the full version.

Conclusion:

Whether through WiFi Direct Hotspot, USB mode, or Bluetooth mode, users can easily connect their phones to computers, tablets, and other devices. The App is particularly useful for users with data plan limitations that restrict mobile hotspot usage or impose data caps. With over 30 million downloads, it has proven to be a reliable and widely-used solution. Download PdaNet+ now to enjoy seamless internet sharing and overcome any restrictions imposed by your data plan.

Edit: But, now way to buy pro. Fox-fi is not available Working real good with, the right cable , the right cable length, and of course using connection through USB tethering, and.... Connected through a 2.0 USB port. For some reason, 3.0 is not working. Lots of trial and error. I've got great connections almost no dropouts. Using Windows 7 pro using an older PdaNet linkpdanet A5221.exe lg-v60 PdaNet+ (plus) hope this helps!! it took me days to get this rolling. I have to a couple of times

I purchased the key several years ago, recently had my phone stolen and lost access. I emailed them & received a reply w/my key within an hour. Great customer service! Also excellent product, great speeds I can even watch movies on my laptop and the rare occasions I receive an error message during connection it is resolved by reinstalling. Highly recommend the paid version.

Amazing! Does exactly what i need how i need it, ive been looking for hours for a working tethering app. This one works well. Its notable that you have to install a application which also installs some driver software (allegedly in only some devices) but i did research and it seems its safe. And it is so far :D Edit: so basically, only usb/Bluetooth works, which after switching to linux... is problematic, it just doesn't even show up as a wifi network, manually adding it didnt work either.

Works like a charm for streaming hulu and Netflix or just providing basic internet needs. I have the pro unlock and the app runs great on my LG G5, but the windows utility CONSISTENTLY just disconnects every hour or so. There's no timeout set on it or anything, and it's not throttling. It just disconnects often and then stops reconnecting after the 4th time or so, then you need to manually reconnect. I have unlimited hotspot data and use this for torrenting and the such. Can't just set and forget

Could solve a real problem, not being able to share cell data, but the connection is just so unreliable and having to key in new and complex passwords every ten minutes, sometimes less, makes this a.....well back to checking for something else that is reliable. They also have some limits on the free version, but no way I'd pay till they work out the bugs.

App works great. Pay for the full version - no issues. If you live in an area where your phone gets good signal and LTE+ then you are good-to-go. Make sure to install all components of PdaNet+/FoxFi correctly. I did not install FoxFi and my PdaNet+ kept timing out/slow. Did not realize FoxFi was missing. The developers do not emphasize the importance of installing all required components.

So ive been using Straight Talk and recently have not been able to tether, come to find out Straight Talk forbids it. Heard about this app and bought the full version, downloaded the app and computer files. WORKS EXCELLENT! Now i get internet on my computer and can broadcast a wifi signal. The wifi mode causes issues for me on my windows 10 pc regarding to connectivity but that just might be a compalibility thing. Nothing a ethernet cable cant solve

I have been using this App (Pdanet) since the time the first iteration came out. It has been an absolutely great application. It has occasionally had a few glitches, but those have all been overcome by tech support and new releases. If you are being throttled back by your carrier, the throughput data volume will significantly increase using the USB tether connection. Some complaints about using the carrier hot spot phone setup are to be expected once you use up your high speed allowance.

Edit: I finally bought the paid version and it has steadily worsened over time. Just today it has disconnected from the USB tether 22 times in under 2 hours, I can no longer use the Wi-Fi feature, it shuts off after just a few minutes, same with the Bluetooth feature. The USB tether was, and now still is, the only way I can connect to the internet. I have uninstalled and reinstalled about 10 times in the last few days to no avail. Fix the damn thing.
