Could never get it to connect to my TV. I needed the remote because I couldn't find mine. You have to do all this downloading and go to this screen on your TV. I couldn't go anywhere on my TV because I had lost the remote!! Nothing but a power button on the TV. No volume buttons to move to the left or right. I'll try it on another TV but so far not happy. App isn't very user friendly in my option either

It takes several minutes to find my roku every time I turn it on. I have high speed internet and the modem and router are less than 10 feet from both my phone and roku. The cost of the app is more expensive than a replacement remote.

The only thing is that every time my phone locks it disconnects so then it goes back to the home screen of the RUKO. That's the one thing that is wrong with this app

The app didn't work 8 years ago when I did the initial install when I purchased my first Roku device. Now with the installation of the (new) current app, it still doesn't operate. My grandson happened to "misplace" the OEM device, so I figured I'd either use the app on my phone or use the whistle function to locate the missing remote. Fortunately, my daughter came home and found the remote in 30 seconds. Just in time to save the day.. and my sanity. These popup ads from ROKU are infuriating.

Absolutely horrible. Every 3rd press of any button, an ad pops up. Little overkill for a remote app.
