It is part of the Thermomix experience. Sometimes apps or web apps associated to a smart cooking devices, suck. Actually more often than not. Likely cookidoo does not. It work fine. It a some simple but quite effective features and it curated and well maintained. It has a different name from the product it serves (Thermomix) which it gives you the feeling that receive the same attention that the actual cooking device does. If you have a termomix you will get along with it soon.

User friendly and much better than having no app. However there are a bunch of things I wish it could do especially for the price of it - allow comments from users in recipes, allow modifying or creating of personal recipes within the app to then use guided cooking. It's also annoying how it defaults to Australian recipes every time so I need to uncheck that to see the full range of english recipes within a search. Hopefully the range of recipes will also increase over time.

Great for getting organised and motivated to cook, getting fresh ideas and trying new flavours, keeping things simple. Cooking for older family members - they can download the app, browse through recipes when it suits them and add them to their own folder, even though we live in separate houses. Great for reducing waste - search the ingredients that need using up, and get it done! Also reduces waste by making it easy to prepare things we'd usually buy pre-packaged. Great for menu planning.

Overall great app, with one exception that should be improved - somehow you cannot change the portion size in the app and it is not possible to automatically adjust the cooking time of the recipe and ingredients etc according to different portion sizes. Also it would be great to be able to add personal notes to the recipes in the app.

It's ok to use, but the fact that it automatically sets the search filter country to the one you're in is super super annoying. If you want recipes from not Belgium (in our case) you have to manually reset it. It's so stupid. I could understand automatically setting the filter by language, but by country? It's so dumb. Please change it.

I love my Thermomix it's very easy to use with a great collection of recipes, my only criticisms are that the application's recipes are not up todate as the Thermomix machine is. I plan my menu on my phone it is a little annoying to later on turn on the Thermomix to receive messages that there is an updated recipe, also it should allow you to save your personal settings it's very annoying that it goes back to default every time the app is closed, otherwise I would have given it a 5 star rating.
