The widgets break all the time but the most egregious thing of all is if you cancel your subscription to avoid autorenewal, Google store shows that the premium features will end at the conclusion of the subscription but in the app all the features are already removed. That is 6 months of premium stolen.

Bought the app mainly for rain notifications, but it's much more than that. Rain notifications are superb, and very very accurate. It uses your local weather authority e.g. Met Éireann (Ireland’s National Meteorological Service) with superior accuracy. Support is superb also, they helped fix an issue I had on my device and the app initially. They really couldn't do enough to help. I highly recommend RainViewer, a brilliant app! A Dark Sky replacement for me.

bought subscription, get accused of piracy (Stock Android), widgets dont load despite permissions or reinstall with cache & data cleared. contacted email as suggested; no refund, application just shows option to buy another year worth; despite me paying 3 months ago for a year (i sent transaction codes and Screenshots in email - no response), restore Purchases does not work

It's fine for the radar but it would be nice to have more features related to weather forecast. Appreciate that's not the main aim but no way would I subscribe the fairly high price just for a radar. In fact, I think the price should be a little less anyway and I'd consider

Used to work great - but now it loads and then... Shows nothing?! Glitch? Will change rating when fixed :-( Edit: Yeah, glitch is fixed, back to 5*. Works again as before. Great app, keep going. I'm a biker and use this all the time to avoid rain patches with rerouting and break planning during rainy season in Thailand. It's been indispensable.

Issue with sound in video ads fixed (sound is off by default). This was a big problem because ads are served randomly and app itself don't have any sounds resulting unpleasant incidents in public. This caused me to avoid using the app. Thanks for listening to feedback.

Bait and switch on premium purchase. I paid $3.99 for the premium version of this app. Afterwards, they updated with a new "pro version" where I need to pay MORE money for those features. And one feature in particular I actually lost even though I already paid for it, the rain notifications. They moved that feature away from "premium" to "pro" while asking me to pay more money. I don't see how this strategy can possibly follow Google app rules. I made my lifetime purchase for all updates.

I've already optimized the app as I said to give it the best possible ways to work properly but notifications are still unreliable. The app in itself works and is good, lot of options, radars and rain are represented, it's just the notification detection that is a problem with "next hour" not working and "radius notification" is sent way too late for me. Hope the new version will be good in that regards.

Pretty good app. I've been premium for 1.5 yrs and have been overall pleased with it, however, within the last 2-3 weeks I can only get radar history for 1 hour. Have already sent direct email to developer but no response. Thought I would try here. Update: app updates have progressively made this app unusable. Cancelled my subscription.
