Good idea but: after measuring my room always ended up crooked, even following all steps carefully measurements were not exact either. Plus when using the free version, once you left the floor plan you could no longer access it at all without paying. I thought they would give at least 1 free slot but no, you're screwed if you left the floorplan. Waste of time.

this is the future, eventually. not quite yet, but soon. its pretty frustrating when you lose a surface measurement and then have to restart. Thats defect #1 and something i think that could be mitigated by the devs. #2 is less important but being able to put a tapemeasure down on an edge to have that measurement captured and used for calibration would be helpful. as it is right now you cannot rely on this for accurate measurments at anyrate, calibrating on the fly would be helpful to use and app

this app really has potential. Unfortunately it is not that easy to use. it is difficult to get room exactly square and parallel and one needs a super steady had to get doors to the correct width and height. it would be awesome if the user was able to manually edit the measurements to tweak rooms to the desired sizes. Another thought would be if the user was able to do room by room and make an entire floor plan of their house and add on extentions etc. Now that is something that I would pay for.

Cool idea, but very buggy. No way to add or change doors and windows after the first time you measure a room. My first corner always moves while I'm measuring the rest of the room, and it has major problems with rooms that aren't square. I managed to get all my measurements right with a lot of manual tinkering (except doors and windows), but I expect a $90 app to work more smoothly than this.

Clearly a poor choice to retrict access to the floorplans drawn preciously. Once you close the floorplan in the app, you no longer have access to it without paying i.e. it's locked, which renders the free tier completely useless. What is more disappointing is that you could open, review and export plans freely in earlier versions of the app. This was my go to app for quick measures of floorplans but I can no longer recommend it to anyone. The free tier is now just a demo, not a functional app.

Why is this on playpass if it's still loaded with ads? I used it to figure out how much flooring I'll need and they showed me two ads during the tutorial and then another right after. When I tried to go back and look at the floor plan they wanted 88 God damn dollars and showed another ad. Now I can't access what I scanned earlier. Trash. Just use the measuring thing in your phone and save yourself the trouble.
