The new interface and threading are confusing. For example, the way it handles drafts. The app also doesn't support inline attachments, which is bizarre. I've been a paying customer for a while, and I would expect a better app experience.

New update made it unable to change the email you can send from on the free plan so you are completely stuck. If you used to be a Mail Plus member, it won't default to your free address. You keep replying without actually reading the issue. edit: thanks for not addressing anything I said, FOR a SECOND TIME. This is ridiculous. I never said you profit off the paid plans. The new update forces me to default to an alias I don't have access to on the free plan. It's that simple.

Must Read:before new update,maybe best email app on the planet,utterly destroyed by one bug ridden update.Carefully typed emails arrive to receiver a total mess.Received emails are unreadable.Absolute disaster.Reviewing carefully sent mail,looks broken.What happened: maybe world's best,most desirable email,got utterly ruined with one update.Not preference issue.Update disaster.Protonmail:maybe you should offer last version,so we can uninstall broken version and return to flawless one.

it was great before, but for some reason replying to emails only uses plain text, its very unusable for me right now - links and formatting doesn't work. i have tried over and over again to find any settings to change this! i'll be uninstalling it until the next update, hopefully this can be fixed!

Love Proton Mail. It's everything e-mail should be with my content being sold to third parties again and again. There is an interview with the designer of Proton Mail. There is a world of information I was unaware of in the e-mail world. Nothing is free. Storing your data on an unsecured cloud server is something I will never do again, much less pay for it. Proton Mail is encrypted, and they explain how and why. My info is mine. It's not for sale. Happy customer here.

I'm extremely disappointed I have been with protonmail for 6 years never had a problem till the new app was created completey need to go back to the old app don't change old things that work makes no since I can no longer copy and paste links don't really know if I'm getting my messages to be I sent out a lot of emails yesterday and I I cannot find one of them the last one that was sent was on Tuesday today is Saturday do not change things that work well !!!

This is great! I've been using Proton mail for years. I finally subscribed to the Proton Unlimited bundle and Wow! It works great on my Linux desktop computers and on my Android phone. I can finally dump Gmail completely and have much more private and secure Email, Drive, Calendars, Contacts, VPN, etc. This looks like it does all I need for now! As a Bitcoiner, (maximalist), and open-source software fanatic, privacy and security are very, very important to me. This is the way!

New bug! Android app sends emails in monospace by default, no way to turn it off and no way to see that it's happening before the email is sent. I'll probably be switching back to GMail over this, I can't afford to not be in control of my email formatting.

I don't like the initials on the left side of every email, wasted space and too much like Gmail. Can you please let me edit filters and have over 100 filters? Also, I cannot select multiple emails when in search mode. This makes it impossible to search a key word and move, mark unread, label, delete, mark as spam more than one email at a time. Empty spam folder doesn't work.
