BEWARE this app flat out doesn't work as deacribed. I've used it for legal reasons and tried to restore unsuccessfully. It restored texts only, no images. I have multiple backups because I wanted to make 100% sure I was safe, but none of them restore images. The folders of attachments are there but the restore doesn't use them. Empty space. I've tried contacting their support 3 times. No response. The chat function in the app says "This feature is no longer available." Do not use.

I'm glad I waited to leave my review. The convo's that I wanted to export and print for court were not showing up. I tried everything but gave up. I decided to look one more time before deleting the app, and everything I needed was there. I'm not certain what locks up those contacts but this is the 2nd time it's happened. My advice is if what you want to backup doesn't show up, then just wait 24 hours and try again. Then the app will work as designed.

This app has been tremendously useful for my family. I've needed texts and social media messages printed off for court. This app has helped in showing exactly what the messages appear like in your phone. It just prints it out the same way. No more trying to screen shot interactions and wasting colored ink when printing out those screen shots. With this app you have the option of pdf,zip,csv etc. Thank you for the useful and easy to use app. I've never had one issue since my purchase .

Good app until resently end of may 2023. Your app keeps erroring and closing out. It works for a minute and then I get an error and it closes. I can keep reinstalling it, but it only works a couple times and then I get issues again. Now it's not letting me access some of my most important contact I need to keep track of text messages for legal purposes. The app still keeps crashing and it seems to be if you get over a certain amount of text message with a person it doesn't recognize the contact.

I searched Google Play and all over the Internet off and on for months. Tried quite a few and none of them really work; as in user friendly. I had this app before, years ago and forgot what it was. Came across some text that I printed out. Fortunately the app was in fine print on the bottom of every text. Found it within minutes on Google Play. Nothing better than this app, nothing. Want to save and print your text? This is the only app to use that is really user friendly. This app is 10 Stars

Great. I had a list of sms messages on my mobile that I needed to provide for a court case. Printing out a load of screen shots did not look professional. This app loads up a list of my messages according to sender, Choose the relevant ones, choose the format you wish to save it in (each one comes with advice on what it is best for) and share to printer (or e mail etc). Cost about £5 but worth it and cheaper than others I looked at.

Pretty cool text backup and restore app, but lost a star because it's buggy with mms (picture messages). They don't seem to restore properly; out of order, wrong picture. Third-party text apps also seem to have a problem with restore, meaning they get a lot of messages out of order making the whole process pointless. Simple backup in html or PDF format - where you can simply reread the conversations later, no restore function - seems to work great, but again pictures don't always work.

I upgraded to the paid version, It worked 1 time & hasn't worked since it just gives me empty files. 6/10/23 Edit: it's a year & this app still isn't working correctly. Every time I try to open the app it just flashes & says there is something wrong with the app & try opening it again once the developer provides a fix. But so far that hasn't happened. I've tried contacting them, I've got no reply. So I guess I'll just uninstall this worthless app and find 1 that works. EDIT: 1/6/24 Don't use it

Second backup app I've installed. Paid $8. Missing parts of the conversation. Fairly intuitive to use. Just that pdf option doesn't consistently have both sides of the conversation. UPDATE: For a very long text conversation I broke it up by months and backed up one month at a time. It's a workaround, but would be nice to have it work for long text convos. Raising to 3 stars.
