i love the service, but the app is borderline nonfunctional on my samsung note 8. once downloaded, it works perfect once. then the next time i open it up, the app has lost its data (all db values are None) and it will not work. does not allow me to sign in, cannot delete user and relogin, nothing. i have to delete app and reinstall every single time i want to use the app.

Incredibly buggy. Your passwords won't load and technical support tells you to force sync from settings. However half the time the button to force sync does not work and when it does work it takes almost 15 minutes for the sync to complete. When you click the feedback button to share feedback nothing happens. I regret migrating off of Bitwarden to proton pass.

What it offers to a free user is good (enough) but lacking compared to what other password managers offer. Having to keep all passwords in a single vault is ok but not allowing users to group them in a meaningful way (such as bank, credit card, ect under a group named Financial) or say groups for Shopping, House, Work (all self defined by the user). When you have several hundred logins and secure notes it's really tedious to search and find the needed item. Can't quite recommend this app yet.

Even after the most recent update at the end of November 2023, the app still doesn't auto fill usernames or emails. I work in a busy hospital and I can't stop to manually copy login information from the app dozens of times a day. Until that's fixed, unfortunately I'll have to go back to 1password. I know the devs are hard at work. And I REALLY want to see proton pass excel, it's just not there yet.

The ability to share vaults, have multiple urls in a single login detail, the custom fields and various lock options on phone are very appreciated! The optiom to share individual items (without the need to share a complete vault) and a password health info page where all weak/old/breached accounts/etc are shown in an overview would be very appreciated and most importantly (and main missing point) is emergency access to Proton Pass (without access to the entire proton account).

Absolutely love Proton and all their products. it's the easiest to use privacy suite out there. I could not recommend them enough and they are very generous with their free plans.

It's great, but... While it is easy to use as a password manager, it glitches and takes ages to load the profile! Edit: I realised that the app works fine if I don't have it grouped with other Apps. Apparently it's a phone company problem and not Proton's fault.

The app works well overall. The autofill has definitely improved in later releases. There are few UX things that I'm not quite used to yet that can be annoying at times. However, those will go away with time as I get used to the app and continue to transition from the previous password manager I was using.

I've had Norton, Bitwarden, Keeper and Now Proton Pass, which is by far the best password manager I've ever had, I highly recommend it over any of those, it is also free and secure and looks amazing.
