Have this app for the On Board driving discount. This app doesn't work for it's intended purpose. Edit 8/10/23 Bought a new car so I have to go through the on board process again, like my driving changes from one car to another. And now they want physical fitness access.....that is ABSURD!!! I will be switching insurance when my policy is up for renewal. Forgot to mention the extreme battery drain...

This app makes me drive more dangerously then I would. Honestly if I get into an accident I would seriously think about filling a lawsuit against AAA. The app is too sensitive to hard braking. Driving at 45 mph, you need to take 300-400 ft to stop at a light, or it will register a hard braking event. So, if the light changes and you are closer than that, only option is to drive right through and not stop. If someone changes into your lane, a light tap registers as hard brake, so I find myself getting dangerously tailgating other cars. AAA, need to change the app. Its not doing its purpose.

I'm glad AAA has created a quality app such as this. It's been very convenient requesting roadside service. The multiple occasions I've done so, the response times felt quicker than when calling for service. It has been extremely convenient using the app when needing to show my card, but didn't physically have it with me. The same was True when needing to show proof of ins. at the DMV. I've used it to find the closest office, renew my membership & search for member benefits. Great app!

Worst experience using The score seems arbitrary, if you don't have the criteria that you're graded by, then isn't it just a way to keep your driving score low? Says no hard braking, says no speeding, and still low score. I don't do any rolling stops, I don't slam on my brakes, I don't speed, don't drive aggressively, but even so I've never gotten any info on what exactly the app looks for you to do when driving.

Had foot surgery and haven't driven my car. How do I have a low score. Also why does continously keep notifying me that it is running repeatedly while Iam at home not driving. Something is very wrong with this app.

I have been a member since 1971 and think the service today is terrible. The app is slow, inaccurate, and difficult to understand. I think the club has too many members!

Runs 24/7. Reduces your score for "hard breaking" when safety and the Texas Transportation Code require that you slow for pedestrians or traffic. Not for coming to a sudden, complete stop, not for slamming the break, but for decelerating over several seconds, as public safety and the law require. The threshold for what constitutes "hard breaking" goes well beyond the reasonable scope. This app endangers public safety by encouraging dangerous driving, despite purporting to do the opposite.

Love the app. The only problem is that it's not recording "all" of my trips, even though I have my location setting on high accuracy. On a positive note, I'm trending 18%-20% discount at renewal. It's now Oct. 2020. No need to track driving. The discount continues yearly. Automatically got discounts for low mileage. My insurance costs less than any of the TV ads, emails, etc from "all" of the other companies promising lowest rates. Definitely 5
