Does not work. I'm logged in on the website and the app under the same email address. The app is showing my heart rate but the site is showing me as offline.

It synched up with a $9 Scosche heart monitor I bought for use with a Halloween stream this month without any issues and the devs are very responsive. Easy to set up and use as well.
