The concept is great. Who can complain when you get something for nothing. However, I do find the app to be 'clunky' and slow. Forever, telling me I have no connection when there isn't a problem with the connection or telling me I have already scanned a receipt when I haven't (but it goes through the second time I try). I also us Receipt Hog and Shoppix, by comparison their Apps are quicker and smoother to use.

It is a very useful app for people who are looking for a bit of extra savings on their spending. My only thought on this app which made me give 4 stars was, the introduction of base rewards and bonus premium units. I nearly had £40 before the premium units concept was introduced and now even to get that £40 I already had I am having to work backwards. They should have atleast made whatever was already available into spendable money and should have started the base to premium as a new start.

I started using this app in the pandemic and never managed to get to the payout stage. I persevered and kept scanning receipts. I am so glad I did. From what I can gather, Zipzero is now BETTER than ever. I have in the last 2 months paid £40 off my energy bill with money, just from scanning receipts. It is simple to use, and for anyone that stopped using this app it is WORKING. I love being able to earn extra % on certain in-store shopping.

I've accumulated £5 from scanning receipts. I tried to withdraw it when the rules changed so the cashback went back to pending. Now, I have £30 pending, some transactions dated 6 months ago, so eagerly waiting for them to get approved. I would prefer to be able to withdraw to the bank account rather than pay bills. Also, I'm not too happy that you can only withdraw base cashback up to the amount of your premium cashback.

Disappointed at best with this. I joined quite early on and scanned for ages, then I tried to redeem but it wouldn't let me for an unknown reason, never mind. Kept scanning, then I couldn't redeem because of financial issues, understandable with everything going on but I kept faith and kept scanning. Now they've changed the app and the £40+ I built up can't be redeemed unless I build up the same amount by shopping at their premium partners (which would take ~£4000 spend). Giving up. Avoid.

Great Cashback app that you can also combine receipts with for extra cashback. It's a bit of a complicated set up. However they offer cashback for websites, and in ways, that other cashback sites don't. I first used the app at the start of the pandemic and it was debatable as to whether the app would pay out. But since the end of 2021 they've revamped the app and business model. I'm pleased to say, since then, I've received 3 payments and all of them on time. 7 months on and as good as ever!

Very disappointed, after the update my £30 available spending reverted back to pending stage, why??? Also been trying to cash out in the past, but it had never worked, they just deduct the amount but never actually goes through. Have been using shoppix, storewards and HuYu as well, started to use them around the same time and they all paid out, £35, £27 and £10. I would say if you have not start using it, don't bother to download the app and waste valuable space. JUST AVOID, AVOID AVOID.

They have worked through difficulties to keep going rather than giving up and leaving users in the cold. It covers the whole amount you've spent rather than only on specific products, they cover a huge variety of stores but have sadly appear to have removed the option for a small amount of cashback for any online purchase. Really useful in this cost of living crisis to pay ad hoc extra money to your bills, IF!! your supplier accepts them (I can only put towards my water bill).

Had the original app and it was very good, then it ran out of funding, so could not cash out for a long time. Now it is back and its working well again. Good cash back for a lot of online products. Which there were more instore shops, with higher bonus as basic cashback for store products is not really worth it. Also you have to wait quite a while for cash to go to available but once you cash out, the payment is very quick. Good customer service too, queries answered within 2 days.
