Update 2023/09/27 Telegram added an intrusive 'stories' element to both the mobile app and the desktop which cannot be removed. It's blinking, way too bright and takes space, basically an ad. This is extremely terrible and if they don't remove this obnoxious ad, it signals the end of an era. Time to move to the next messenger. Practically never had issues with this messenger and enjoy using it and the new features it regularly receives. Only thing I'm missing is a video chat.

Better than most of other spywares out there. It's the added stuff that are not possible to disable is lowering the rating, not having E2E zero knowledge encryption by default is anther bummer

Perfect after all! But one thing that doesn't make satisfied is the characters of the being so low-limited. I in them inspirational, motivational quotes for whomever is reading. But I can't set the best ones just because of the char. limit! Please increase them!

Little by little they are transforming Telegram into a traditional social network, all that's left is to put up a timeline with unsolicited news from contacts we don't want, and then just shove it down the throats of all users. The most recent addition was the most popular narcissist stage, Story, and as always there is no way to disable it. I will use Telegram X until they allow us to disable Stories. At this point, WhatsApp is ahead, as Story is at least discreet.

It has some irresponsible, reckless team behind it. Private promotions to your friends and cordial groups are absolutely restricted and your account gets almost permanently restricted if you do, to the extent you can't chat with friends or in your groups. This has been my experience. You people can do better, but for now, it's 1 star for you!

It used to be quite extraordinary. But after the recent update, I'm facing a wierd issue like "unsupported document" and a simple image can not be uploaded. It's a very wired problem.. unnecessary updates are done to make things more complicated.

A recent update has made sending files incredibly annoying by vibrating your phone for every chunk of data that is being sent. A 3MB file vibrated my phone 8 times (Even with the app running in the background). Whoever thought this was a good idea is truly a moron. I can't even tolerate the app now because of this. Along with this most of my stickers are brokenb many are greyed out and never load up.

Since the last few updates, I've not been able to access my messages through the notification bar. This is really inconvenient and I have to now open the app from the app drawer each time. Please fix this.
