The new emojis really do look goofy. They look just like the WhatsApp emojis! Makes me not even want to use them because the expressions are so stupid looking. Had trouble sending photos and group texts all of the sudden so had to reinstall the app. This seemed to fix it, but now there is no option to customize vibration patterns. The default is a very long vibration that sounds like an incoming phonecall, very annoying.

This is an awesome texting app! A huge plus: Phenomenal tech support. I emailed them a question and they replied that evening! I had several follow-up questions and the response was always within an hour. Their explanations and suggestions were specific and understandable. You just don't see that level of support these days.

I have really enjoyed this app. However, since Christmas I have been having a problem off and on with receiving MMS messages. I will get a notification that textra can't get MMS message and to tap to retry. When I do this, nothing happens. No message is received# nothing. I have cleared the cache, I have restarted my phone, textra ia my default messaging app, nothing helps. Am I actually get an MMS message that won't come through or is it a phantom??

I switched from my Google messaging app because I love to schedule messages which I use a lot. I'm giving 5 stars because it doesn't work with my Pixel 2 Watch so if I want to send messages through the watch I have to change my messaging service on my phone which I don't want to do. Please work with Google to get this setup! This might not be a Textra issue, but when I send a single text with multiple pics to my brother's iPhone they come in as multiple texts instead of one text like I sent it.

Used to be 5 stars but with new updates unable to customize the notification vibration pattern, which is actually quite annoying. Its now a super long vibration pattern. Would go back to 5 stars if this would change back. Otherwise, some tech difficulties with sending and receiving messages.

Much better text app then the one that the LG V60 has pre-installed. To be honest, the LG V60 is the most Bland and boring built in texting app I have ever seen! The texting app in my former phone LG v20 was a whole lot better. I tried several different texting apps, and Textra is the best and I highly recommend Textra! (Update Jan 2024. Still love this app!)

I have been a premium user since 2017. I have had minimal, maybe twice, had an issue in all those years and with all those updates. The developers have always been very transparent about each update and what changes they made. I Love the customization this app has. Keep up the great work.

After years of using Textra & finding it almost perfect it has now become very buggy & unreliable. First the app badge started telling me that that I had multiple new messages when there was only one - a random number for no apparent reason. More recently it has just totally quit giving me any notification at all for new messages - no sound or vibration & no number displayed. I have had to revert to default phone Message app to receive message notification.
