I've had absolutely zero issues with this application's web browser, nor with any service of theirs that ive beta tested... speaking of, the APP Tracker is an awesome thing, in deed! I check the tracker-blocking nfo virtuly daily and I'm amazed not just the #of applications that gather&sell my personal information, but these tracking companies will make anywhere from 1 to THOUSANDS of attempts to trace me during the short time I am online, or using another app! I can't say enough positive things about this app. I use it exclusively for internet browsing and it does an exceptional job blocking trackers. But, the added App Tracking Protection and Email tracking protection are absolutely awesome!

On 19.1.24 when I opened bookmarks I found that the arrangement had been disrupted. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and also importing an older bookmarks saved in my phone but I am not getting the arrangement back. Please can anyone help with this issue.

I have been using DDG for over 10 years now and recommending it for privacy to family and friends. If you value your privacy, make DDG your default search engine. The only issue I don't like is that it starts with the phone and keeps restarting in the background and I have to force stop it. It doesn't have to be running 24/7, just when I use it. Please fix that issue.

Everything I ever wanted in a browser, privacy, easy of use and button to make it all dissappear. The only thing I wish is that we could have a way to quickly load the fire proofed site, I can find a way to load them without typing the URL in again.

Runs just as fast as Chrome or Firefox, but it actually blocks all of the junk that those other browsers allow through. Some websites are borderline unreadable these days with the nonstop barrages of pop-ups, but DuckDuckGo handles them with ease.

Just installed Yesterday, so far it's Great, I've found that it loads websites faster and YouTube has been working much smoother. I was getting frustrated with my phone's default browser and this has really been a quick fix.

UPDATE: I strayed from DuckDuckGo and was BOMBARDED with ads! Nothing was even semi-private. I'm back and do not intend to stray again! I haven't had the opportunity to use the app much but I have noticed a large decrease in notifications/ads. When I have used the app a bit more I'm sure my rating will increase to 5 stars. I already feel as though DuckDuckGo keeps my personal device more private and secure.

No way to disable autoplay. Make that an option and you have a better app. Otherwise Brave/Firefox are my go to at this point. As far as search results. You are better off just leaving the search bar blank. You'll get more relevant results. Looked for oil filters for my car. DDG was very good at finding my car for sale, trade in values, coffee filters, crock pots, and Subaru corporate headquarters. Yeah, money. I get it. At least put a banner up saying the "these are sponsored results".
