I am very impressed by this app, I use it all the time while travelling to explore the botany of the place. I love the ease of use and the links to wikipedia and different sites to have more information on the plant. It still helps to have some botany and observation skills to be able to correlate the selections they offer. Sometimes I don't find anything that seems to match.

So far, so good! I haven't used it long, but for my novice 'backyard weed' ID it's worked really well. it's pretty straightforward. The most basic: ☆Hit the camera icon to either take a picture directly, or use one from your gallery. I haven't played much yet, but it looks like you can take multiple pictures to help with identification? ☆ The app will ask if the picture is of the leaf, flower, fruit, bark, or growth habit. Choose whichever your image is, and submit it.

This app is very good, I had a very good experience with it for verification of medicinal plants. Now make it even more correct.

The app will give you clues to identify your plants - sometime missleading, as the database is croudsourced, and many observation pictures are wrong. Gives the most suggestions from all simmilar programs I've tried, so it is still my favorite. It will be better if the comparison is based only on approved data. Adding more photos button must be on top somewhere above proposed species. It will be good to have the option to search personal observations by name or genera.

the app works fine, it does what it is supposed to do. however, it NEEDS to have more places, maps, locations. i'm from Chile, and the closest it allows me to register my contributions is Bolivia. it's highly disappointing actually, i wish the developer team could do something about it, because adding more and more contributions to "world flora" does not help. other than that, i really like the app, thank you!

Can be helpful in narrowing down which family or genus a plant is in based solely on pictures. Rarely is it able to match an exact species, variant, or cultivar. Allowing users to add special flags to photos (other than just where the photo was taken) and allowing more filters on searches could improve identification accuracy and app usability. Cleaning up improper translation/localization would also make the app look more polished.

For a free App, absolutely worth your time. I don't find it always gives a definitive answer, but there are a LOT of plants that looks alike, after all. It easily narrowed down a tree/bush to a Honeysuckle, but wasn't quite as certain about which kind of Honeysuckle it was. It's more than accurate enough for me, anyways. Pick it up. Try it.

The app works great. It does what it says. Please add an Indian flora section. There are a few problems, though. I have noticed many instances of similar-looking species in other plant species due to incorrect identification by people. As a result, it often provides False positive results. Additionally, please consider upgrading the server as the images load very slowly.

Works better than the ones you can purchase in the playstore and it's free. I was able to better identify the plants and trees in my backyard. I hope, in time this technology and software will be flawless and much more precise. I wasn't given a definite result for anything I photographed, rather a few suggestions/possibilities. Got different results at different angles but, still fairly accurate. Other apps identified my lemon tree as an avocado/olive tree, this app properly identified it :)
