Very disconcerting. It presents an ethical delima for tmobile as I specifically have been on the same unlimited data plan for the last 5 years that specifically states I will not be throttled. This ap proved that I am being lied too but showing they more than halved my potential data on Netflix.

I'd love to use this app to check if my provider is slowing down my internet, but the server is constantly down since I installed it. May it be related to the fact that I am a EU citizen doing this in Europe with a local provider? Technically net neutrality is still ongoing here, but provider do slow down traffic and there have been some evidences of this (especially ISP providers that have a good relationship with national institutions, those hardly face legal procedures that go beyond fines and compensation). Please make this available for Europe as well, because we can only keep net neutrality a thing if people know how it affects them directly. UPDATE: apparently it works when I run the test through my mobile provider, so can you confirm me that in this case it is my home internet provider that is preventing me from connecting to your servers? or is it still an issue connected to the fact that my provider is european? thanks in advance, I am sorry for all those questions, I'm pretty new to this kind of stuff

This app revealed to me that T-Mobile slows down some popular video streaming apps, the most relevant to me being YouTube. I hope the data this app collects is put to good use!

Confirms what I already suspected, that my carrier is throttling most video streaming sites. I mostly notice it on YouTube content, where I watch DIY repair videos and tend to skip around to the relevant sections. Whenever I do this, the videos buffer for several seconds each time, and sometimes stop playing altogether.

It does what it says. My carrier is throttling. No surprise its Verizon. I have unlimited data plan. I'm going to complain about the plan. They need to add Twitch app to this also.
