ive been dealing with an issue with my phone screen timeout resetting to 30 seconds daily. i have not been able to find a solution anywhere that worked until this app. simplest solution and easy to configure a small if then statement. may consider purchasing if other uses come up outside the 30 block limit. theres a good chance this happens.

Amazing and powerful tasking app! Total lifesaver to help workaround some limitations I personally experience using regular, everyday apps. Thanks!!! I just really wish there was a way to have global atomic variables to communicate between fibers ACROSS different flows, would've made things a lot easier. If there is, I haven't been able to discover or figure it out.

I had an issue with WiFi thethering after an android update. I can honestly say that support are excellent, literally within a few minutes I was getting help and assistance. And, the issue with my logic in my flow was resolved. I don't use the app for any complex tasks but safe to say, this app has a huge amount of possible options to help automate how you use your device. Highly recommended its use.

I've had serious problems with my phone deciding to start music instead of resuming my book. When listening to a book to help with returning to sleep this can be a huge issue. (Blasting heavy metal music is not ideal for sleep) With automate I made a script that catches my Bluetooth play/pause and sends it to the program of my choice. I loved it so much I bought the program giving me more nodes, now it asks me which program I want to run at start and tells me the time when I double tap play.

This app seems unpolished. It is difficult to find block that you want. There are too few examples. Documentation is not clear, it was difficult to figure out where I can use variables for example. All those variable types and conversions between them make automation as difficult as programming in poorly designed programming language. There are many less flustrating apps for automation.

I havent tried tasker, which I've heard is a better known, slightly more powerful, slightly harder to use equivalent to Automate- because I haven't seen a reason to. Every time I came up with a new automation concept, I was able to find all the tools i needed for it in Automate's well-organized interface in a matter of minutes. Better still, when I got stuck and couldn't figure out how to make my flowchart do what I want, I could just look up other people's work in the Community for inspiration.

While the free version was more than enough for my needs, I bought premium to support the developer. This app is simply fantastic. Yes, there is a learning curve but hey once you get a grip on it, you will be surprised how you even lived without this. Given the power this app gives to you, it is worth investing your time to learn it. Trust me, it will pay off once you start automating your device.

Great for Bluetooth automation. I use it daily in my car and have been for years. One thing I would ask the dev to look into would be a block to do something similar for wired devices as the bluetooth block does. eg: "usb device connected, yes/no" block and not just referring to a power state block. The broadcast listen block is a bit above my head I suppose.

All good but HOW IN HECK do you configure drop-down menu shortcuts?? (the ones which I presume let you activate certain flows like the homescreen shortcuts, but currently it just says "Automate unused". Tried searchin the settings, the help page, the internet, tapping on it, holding, biting, crying……… across 4 dif Androids. Is this a paid feature? I'd really love to have a flow available from the upper contextual menu for convenience, so I'd even consider it, but ANY info is nowhere to be found!
