    I. was on a trial and just canceled before I was even two days. I tried 3 VPN and two of them including this one prevents my web page from loading. This is the VPN I'd preferred if it had worked because I love the user interface and it get good review on the Web. What I know about it is that it's Very fast. But I have make a decision form first experience and it keeps freezing my website. I have to keep disconnecting and reconnecting. And because of that I had to cancel the trial subscription.

Update 11/10/21: Much better. Keeping updates, up to date. I have been using this VPN for years. I find connection to the internet impossible when there is a new update. It's gotten so that whenever I can't connect I look to see if there is an update waiting for me to initiate. But to do that I have to pause the VPN from use and turn the internet kill switch off. I like the kill switch capability to the internet when there is no connection preventing traffic both ways but it can be problematic.

The VPN puts your devices IP into a different location and keeps you totally unseen. I have used Avast for several years. In my opinion it's the best and easiest antivirus program that I've used. Even with the free edition you get more than you get with other programs you pay for. It's always running in the background for protection if you need to boost your device, if you have apps draining your battery, or junk and media that needs to be cleared they remind you.

Normally I love Avast products, but installing this has been a disaster. I downloaded it on my laptop first, all went well at first. Problem is to many websites I use won't allow access with VPN so it's sort of a waste. I installed it on my Android device and it made me set up fingerprint security on my phone. Wasn't thrilled but it went okay. Problem was that it apparently also setup some "default password"?? without my knowledge. I didn't discover this until I turned my phone off and when I turned it back on expecting to use my fingerprint access, I had a notification that after being turned off my phone required my password. Well because I didn't set it up,I have no clue what it is. I don't want to have to hard reset my phone but nothing else is working.

Best VPN ive ever tried and i have tried a LOT. very easy to use, amazing results (mobile and pc versions use different subscriptions keep that in mind if you're paying for the year thinking you can connect that subscription on both pc and mobile. Unless you start off on pc then you can choose up to 10 devices, but only for that application and there are three you need to get the full benifits of Avast. There are free trials but its still annoying. That is the single only reason for the 4 stars)

Disappointing for a paid service. Works in approx. 50% of cases at best. The mobile app often mysteriously disconnects and struggles to connect at all to many shared WiFi networks when it is most needed. As a paid service you'd reasonably expect that some money is going towards ongoing development to ensure maximum connectivity, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I have used avast vpn for a longtime. However; it gets old having to restart my phone every time I turn around. I set up when I wanted to have the VPN connect all the time and kept getting told I had no internet connection. I would find this out when I would try and use an app. I would shutdown the Wi-Fi and the VPN would connect instantly just to have it disconnect when I turned the Wi-Fi back on. Don't waste your time with this app.

Noticed randomly disconnects at times. Don't like having to use the kill switch all the time. I played with the settings some more so let's hope this works. Price isn't too bad for 1 year subscription. Wouldn't mind a little discount after using their software for a few years now but hey, everyone has to make a buck. Overall pretty decent product. I still need to test out the VPN+ AD Block app as well. (Avast Secure Browser and Avast One). I will review the others too

I am satisfied with the cellphone version of the app. It has many servers around the world specifically in united states. But if you want to use this app for Android TV, I dont recommend it, since you dont have access to diverse servers within the countries in TV version of the app. For instance considering U.S servers, you have access to 16 different servers on cellphone version of the app but on TV version you only have access to one server. This cause some problem in some streaming services.
