Shame on Reolink for charging $70/yr simply to push notifications containing actual images or videos. Such a feature should cost, at most, $10/yr, or should be included simply by buying the camera. Many other cameras and system do this for free. I've bypassed it using a separate system. Edit: your reply is a strawman argument. Yes, you push notifications. No, you do not push RICH notifications (with image or video) unless the camera owner pays $70/yr.

Time out errors, cannot connect errors, cannot get video recordings from the camera.. what is the actual point? If this is all reolink has to offer its time to go go a different company. This is a poor excuse for an app if there ever was one. And for comparison, my camera is 3 feet from the router so it isn't like it's out of range.

After the latest update that fixed android being useless on app. The new one works better and reliably. HOWEVER the new update broke something that worked before. My Duo 2 4k POE is smooth as can be on app at full quality. But the less bitrate 4k RLC-811A cameras can only be smooth and not 1 frame every 2 to 3 seconds on balanced/mid or fluent settings. I did notice that these cameras are saying 10,000 to 11,000bps on high where as before they maxed at 8,000 to 8,300bps. Could be a clue.

Straight up doesn't work. Almost never am I able to actually view footage. Neither live nor previous recordings will load. "Playback failed" should be the name of this app because that's all it does. I don't understand how I could have full bars both in mobile data and wifi access and yet I cannot view the sub par graney footage. Such a total waste honestly. If something were to happen I would have to tell the police yeah sorry I'll send you the footage of the perp in 6 months when this loads

Missing some basics compared to Arlo. I was hopign to replace my Arlo cameras, but that's not going to happen. Arlo sends a nice push notification that you can select per camera and it includes a pic that shows you ther "person" or other thing that set off the camera. Arlo also allows you to set different security "modes" that work at a per camera level so one can quickly "arm" all cameras to send alerts or have an "at home" setting for other configs so that only specified cameras send pics.

This last update has taken away the volume icon on bottom right during multi camera screen mode. The only way now to hear volume is selecting each camera individually. I am disappointed with this new Reolink update. PLEASE

The app is missing some key features and abilities. But otherwise works ok. Really need the ability to only view only one of the streams on the RLC-81MA. The telephoto stream is worthless and just takes up space on the app. I can only disable the whole camera. There should be a check mark to choose which streams I want to see.

Why is my channel selection option missing after the recent 3/2024 update?? I'm stuck with a view that I don't want and can't customize my view from my app... If it's not broke why fix it??? I think when you guys update anything you should let us know what you're taking away along with what you're adding/fixing....Can we fix this?? It Sucks

Edit: All notifications randomly turned off on all cameras. Disappointed in the app and battery cameras after thinking I was upgrading from Wyze. The lack of rich notifications in general is a huge miss. Wyze offers these free for cameras a quarter the cost but Reolink doesn't offer them at all on almost all of theirs, even with the subscription! To make things worse, you get a text based motion detection, click the notification, and aren't even taken to the playback clip that correlates.
