For some time now, the app refuses to update and insists on waiting for a wifi connection, and when it finally gets downloaded -it comes up again as needing an update like it never registered that it downloaded the app...it always shows an error message and notifications that it couldn't be downloaded while other google apps download with no problem. Please fix this. This is so annoying. It's bad enough that I have to update every other day consuming time and data, but now this?

They fixed the issue with it crashing unfortunately now it has a new issue, every time I click a YouTube video it opens the Google Play page for YouTube, I don't want to watch YouTube videos on the YouTube app I want to watch it in my browser. Addition: the app has now started crashing again, every 5 minutes I get "google has stopped" making it difficult to use my phone. I really wish I could uninstall this poorly programmed mess.

I miss the search engine. And Google may say we have more "Control" over our content but they sure try to make it difficult these days. I have never had to jump through so many hoops. Why would you use up my storage space archiving SPAM? And I would like the PRINT option back! How difficult do you want to make it to print your own damn pictures these days when you used to have a passable print option. Not a happy user, and really not interested in continuing to use Google.

According to my Google settings, there are two devices , both pixel 7 pro, being used as device verification prompts, using passkeys to auto verify. But on my 7 Pro and account, I have said settings off. But it shows me that there are two with this feature on. Changed my number upon getting this phone, and it's a newly created account. Number and account never linked with any other device. Please email me, and I can provide a screenshot. Also, my attempts to send feedback dont go through.

This app was working great until about a month and a half ago. I would pull up a search, switch to another app, try to switch back to my Google search, and it'd disappear. This is terrible, especially when you have to switch back and forth to input info, check your bank account before purchasing something, etc. I can't stand it, SUPER inconvenient. I bought a new phone (Galaxy s24 Ultra) from an S22 Ultra and it does the same thing. I've cleared cache, still nothing. Please fix!!!

Something is wrong with my android auto. Voice recognition is working fine when asking to play music on Spotify. But when I am asking it to call someone whole driving, it is recognising l but saying that " I need to collect more information, please tap notification on device" And there is no notification on ky device. It was working completely fine 1 week ago.

The intelligence or comprehension of the assistant appears to be compromised. "What's my ETA?" while driving with Google Maps used to work reliably; however, as of recently it either defines what "ETA" stands for, or it simply states that it doesn't understand the request. Frustrating the driver while navigating handsfree would seem to be the exact opposite of the purpose Google intended.

Update: a lot of my searches now has an AI generated text box as the first result, and the ads are getting out of hand big time. The discover news feed when I swipe to the side is now showing a bunch of ads. I will no longer be using it. I'm really tired of constant ads, seeing an ad makes me go out of my way to not buy what's being advertised.

I used to open the app and go to the discover tab for news. Lately, every time I open it, it just shows me the same stuff over and over again. Even after I specifically hide a story or video, it starts showing it to me again. I've tried deleting my search history, it still just shows me the same searches and the same related stories and videos, that it shows me almost every day. It's almost useless now.
