Interesting and relevant articles, but it would be so much more useful to be able to bookmark them for reading later/saving them, to be able to share with others, or making notes of important points to save to a personal notebook... so many improvements that could be made to make this app more useful than the average webpage instead of less so.

Update: okay now I can log in to see my card. But 'Account' > 'Inbox' shows "4". Not so. It's empty. That's okay. All I wanted was the ability to see my card. I don't want to see suggestions or offers unless I ask. I don't want pop ups or alerts unless I ask for them. You gained a star by letting me see my card. [original: Tell me when works. It says try again no matter how I try to log in. I am uninstalling.]

This app is very slow. I was searching for hotels through the benefits tab and tried to change my location and it just loads and loads and loads. I decided to just search a hotel in the area I was interested in, and it states 60 hotels by that particular company found, but only displays 4. They really need to work on this app.

I get notifications from the app and I'm interested in the articles. But when I try to read them, I get part of the way thru and it asks me to log in. Fine, I'm a member. But after putting in my email, I try to paste in my password from my password app. The paste button pops up, and then disappears before I can paste it in. And I get an error saying my password is required. I use the password app for security reasons and don't want to make a simple one to type in.

The AARP app won't let me login. First it said my password was wrong. In Find My Membership it says my first name is wrong. After several tries with the same info punched in, it popped up with my email associated with my account but asterisked part if it then told me I have the wrong email;, the one the app itself says goes with my account. I keep all my passwords and info in a notebook. I double-checked and I am positive I entered correctly. Your app is malfunctioning.

I downloaded the app, put my member number and email address as requested, then was asked to create a password with 8 characters and at least one number, did so several times and it still wouldn't accept any of them! I thought this was supposed to help me, not aggravate the hell out of me! How the hell am I supposed to use the damn app if you won't accept any of the passwords I created! Your organization is great, but your app stinks!

Even though I read the negative reviews I was still hopeful that they were wrong and that the app would work for me. No such luck! Reviews were right. Never could log in. Just kept telling me to make sure I had the right email and password! Both of which I knew to be correct.

Freezes on the red start up page and doesn't let me into the app, so it is a little difficult to rate the app at all... Uninstalled and hoping a reinstall helps. Edit: Reinstalled and I can get into the app. Can't open messages from inbox, but runs pretty well through the other features.

I installed the app. I couldn't remember my password, so requested a reset. When I entered a new password, I received a message of a proxy server error. I immediately uninstalled the app. If this app can't manage a password reset, it will probably perform poorly. I don't want it on my phone.

Your update broke the app. I stopped it, reinstalled it, went through all the hoops to try to get it continue past the red screen. But it's hit and miss. Now it seems I have to clear the cache every time I want to use it. App is more trouble than it's worth. It's supposed to make my life easier, right?

I love all of the amenities and the emails on health and diet. I've read some really interesting and helpful articles on health and avoiding foods and how to exercise. There are discounts on lots of things, games to play, lower insurance rates and much more for the low annual fee. I've been a member for a long time.

I have installed the app several times and I can't get logged in,. It says my email or password is incorrect, but I have double checked them both and they are correct. I guess I'll just have to use the website and delete the app once again.

Right off the bat it exhibited unrecoverable Java errors that made it impossible to access my profile or connect the app to my profile. Typical sloppy Java programming. It's as schlocky as the site that insists on loading all sorts of tracking and spyware on your machine. Cannot recommend.

Garbage app. To change anything requires a password. Fine. Once you enter the password you can't hit enter or anything else to proceed. The app is stuck and won't go any further. You can't exit the app either shut it down. Nuked this complete waste of time and effort.

I was a user of the previous AARP app. While it was not scintillating, it provided the two functions I needed most -- showing my AARP card and finding discounts. So AARP apparently decides to "upgrade" it. In the process, they rip the app off my phone. I discovered the "upgrade" by the icon's absence when I needed it. I had to download it again. Then, apparently, they had also scrubbed my credentials, so that I had to jump through a half-hour worth of hoops to get logged in again. Once I went through this pain, I discovered they had removed the functionality I most used -- my AARP card. We have a family membership, and they decided to remove the function that put my name on the card and instead put my wife's name on it. Then I gave them feedback via the web site and they refused to read what I said and reply, instead saying "call us". Really bad show, AARP.

Bugs galore! Most of the settings (profile, etc) don't work. You enter info and it won't save or you constantly get errors saying there is a problem, try again later. I would use it more if it worked better.
