Hard to navigate. The app is a confusing mess of menus some of which are duplicated without any real explanation. In some ways they've over simplified it to make it easy to use, but by doing so, it only scratches the surface of what you want to code and understand about the car. By far the biggest issue is how quickly it drains the battery. Also you can't exit the app whilst a process is running otherwise it kills the connection but doesn't tell you. 3 stars for ease of use. Needs improvement.

Absolutely con this company. Tell you have the right to refund but then give you a load bull when you try. For anyone not in the know you're not buying the scanner so they "can't refund that" you're buying the right to use it and then you get the scanner free. Do not use this company or their products.

Tried it and it works, mostly. About half of the functionality is available using an INPA compatible USB cable. The rest of the functionality requires that you buy the Bluetooth adapter for another 44,90 EUR. Things like removing the iDrive disclaimer. A minor observance, I also think the UI could be updated. Seems a little dated.

This app used to be great, before the "subscription" only days. Saved me a few times with a mini Cooper. Now it is nothing more than a heaping pile of garbage. Can't connect via USB and otg adapter which worked great with the old app. No thanks, I don't code over an unreliable wireless connection. The interface is made for someone who knows nothing about cars, who most likely wouldn't use an app like this. Option to change to an advanced interface? Nope.

Great tool. Not exactly intuitive though, and there's a few pay-walls to get additional features - especially for BMW/MINI. Considering that it is cheaper than paying a BMW mechanic to do some of these things, it's worth it - but not the subscription service in my opinion. I already paid for the BMW features - I shouldn't have to also pay for the additional features in a subscription on top of that. Seems very "nickle & dimey"

The app receives a star for mobility, one for ease of use, and a third for available features. However, I'm not buying the practice of hiding the use of certain features for bluetooth transmission only, knowing the likes of BMW and Dinan use a solid OBD II cable for everything. In my opinion, it's a ploy to force the purchase of an overpriced Carly BT adapter.

Disappointing. Why can't the models supporting each function be readily available in print beforehand? An example is my getting the app and the Bluetooth plugin to do a battery Registration plus reset... So we use the lite to see if the engine supports it, then given a half answer, as you still need to buy the registration 'lock off', it's not at all clear, models supporting each feature should be in print for all to see - instead of people going through expense, only to be left frustrated. EDIT: I had an update to the App after leaving the above review, and everything changed - I've used several coding alternatives, tweaks to instrument cluster view, Comfort access, Battery Check, and live EGR readings, really really good, had a new battery installed and used Carly for resetting preferences. I know other people with other well documented, expensive diagnostic tools... & they don't read faults as well as this. From a Tried, Tested point of view- it really works.
