This is only a review of the app itself. The content is definitely 5 stars. With the new version of year, the synchronization of the day and the actual date was off. No biggie, I could just keep going and be just fine. Then be days ago, it kicked me back to day 1 - New Year's Resolution and back to Genesis 1 losing two months of progress with no way to fix it.

Great app, first time I've been able to follow a Bible in one year programme. It's v user friendly, and love the fact that I have the option of using the audio on the days I have a long commute to work. Only issue I had was when it crashed, but followed the instructions to clear the cache and data from storage, and I was able to resume exactly where I'd left off.

Good content, frustrating app. I keep losing the play button. It means I need to delete & reinstall. I then have to work out what day (not date) of the year it is. If I get it wrong it syncs everything to the wrong date-uninstall-reinstall! Guess again which day we're on (hope the play button is back). I've had to do this several times already this year, sometimes a few times p/day, and it's only February! I love the content but I'm not sure how long I can do this. Please, please fix it

Have loved this in the past, but installing it afresh I have found that if I have to pause it for any reason, the sound will not resume. It stays silent. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times and have had the same experience each time. Haven't got past day one for this reason. Very sad.

I've used this app for the previous 3 years. It's the way I typically start my day. So disapointed there is no way to download content for offline listening. I often listen while walking and prefer to download rather than use data. Today the ability to listen was gone...I preferred the old version.

The app was just what I needed, unfortunately it crashed on day 2 and would not open. After uninstalling and reinstalling, it worked but I lost my day 1 record. On day 5, it crashed again and i could not open it... day 6, it kept crashing. When i got it opened, it only loaded up to day 4. Day 7 same issues. Please fix the bugs.

Update from v7.x to v8 has signicantly changed the App appearance, settings and Bible review options. It is nice to have new options BUT the appearance and settings are MUCH worse and much more limited than v7. I have gone back to the old v7 for the time being. I hope that v8 will improve. (note to Devs - selecting 'Classic' does NOT look like v7 - if it did look like v7 I would have been a lot happier :-)

I started bioy on the youversion app, and then tried this. It is better in that it has the commentary in the right places between readings, but it is clunky. Especially that often when trying to scroll down it often just won't, or keeps jumping back. And you can't see what sections you've completed. Also you can't see what bible version it's using, but I would like the option to change it, and other options. The content is great, btw, but the app could be better.

Was recommended this app by a friend and was really looking forward to using it. Love the content but disappointed to find I am not able to come out of the app other than by switching off my phone and am unable to relisten/read previous days posts. Hopefully this is a glitch with the update to the BIOY app and I will find it easier to navigate soon.

The app was great until you changed the interface. For a start I can't change between Classic and Express without un and then re installing the app. Also having the Bible text and commentary all bundled together is more unwieldy to read and I'm more keen on reading the Bible and not so much all the commentary - this is the Bible in One Year after all. Really enjoyed using it last year so please do consider changing it back to something similar to before. Thanks

Thanks to all for this app. I have been listening to Daily Audio Bible for 7 years before switching over to BIOY introduced to me. As I get familiar with the app, I kept having issues with the listening mode, especially on replay-ing it by resetting it. I have tried uninstall and install. Still it does not play for audio listening.

I do the day's reading through audio. Not fond of the British accent. Also, limited bible versions available. I do like the ability to download for when data/signal are limited. The daily reading is organized in daily devotional type themes, which could be nice but since this is my first time through the whole bible I want to read it in the historically chronological order.

I have found content immensely valuable and it speaks to me personally. I would have liked to give a rating of 5, but I've had to re-install the app as the content goes blank. When I want to listen to parts again (I sometimes listen to a day's reading more than once, or re-visit earlier readings), I cannot access it. This would really be great if this could be fixed!

There are progressive readings from Proverbs, NT and the OT with explanations, a prayer at the end of each reading. In addition Pippa adds a short note with a verse and to summarize there is sometimes one verse at the end of the day. I find this very helpful to study God 's Word and Nicky Gumble is an excellent teacher- I have both followed and lead the Alpha course of which he is the founder (I believe).

Unfortunately the ap no longer downloads for each day overnight. All I get is a blank screen. This has been happening for many months now although it does download intermitently. I have to uninstall it and then reinstall and reset every day. I asked about this many months ago and was told it was because the ap keeps crashing. Is this still the case and will it be fixed? I do continue to listen though as I find it a greatly encouraging resource. Many thanks. Ron
