I've used this app while traveling in Peru and Costa Rica. Been useful and reliable readings. A companion had an apple watch which purports to give good readings. The readings from this app proved more accurate.

Excellent app the altitude above sea level reading is spot on with Google earth as is the latitude and longitude reading which can be very useful if you need to inform anyone of your precise location.

My husband and I really like this app. We've had alot of fun with it while traveling and just everyday curiousity. This is the only altimeter app we've used so we aren't comparing it as "better than"...just have used it alot and been satisfied with it.

Was working fine but now does not work at all just a blank screen. Had similar problem with A. Barometer, until AR fixed it. Hope they can do the same with Altimeter.

Seems to be fairly accurate. Which is more accurate though, the GPS or Location based? I have about a 25' difference between the two. Just upgraded to the Pro version

I use it when I'm climbing in Joshua Tree Nat Park to see my elevation. I like the two sources of altitude. Satellite and gps. a big plus is no matter how far away i am from cell service i still get a satellite reading! the other app i have only works when i have line of sight to cell service

This app (Pro version) seems to run and check altitude way to often - I have it set for 1 hr checks but I can not shut it off completely - a real battery drain until I can shut it off or uninstall
